I was highly anticipating. And I wasn't disappointed.

I feel in Love with Ozone - Not litteraly ofc. He is cute, caring and it's Gun sooo... How to live without Ozone now... Gun really did an amazing job portraying him. But I'm not suprised, he is a great actor - and one of the biggest gem in GMMTV.

I love the relationship, how they all care about each other. Dream and Ozone, Ozone and Day, Day and Night... It was really heartwarming, even if the topic isn't funny. They could show great relationship - Even if Night tried to kill Day buuuuutt let's say he was a little bit confused :)

I was just confused about the end, about the desert. I didn't like it.

But eiter way, all the character were great - even if not perfect - and show deep emotions and personnality.

I hope GMMTV keep releasing show like this. They are my favorite kind of drama. But I don't know if they are making enough money for them to care...

why create shows that u cannot develop beyond the initial idea

again, another gmmtv which could have substance but they could not commit to it. they had one line to prompt the entire series: what if 2 ppl born on leap day have their loved ones die. they did not build more upon this idea. why does leap day happen, why these people and how. nothing is answered. my biggest gripe is ozone's character. they went with the same way they have always represented an autistic person. and apparently ozone is the 'help' sent from someone to solve leap day. its like the team didn't have a answer to solve leap day so they created a character who does not fit the usual ways of society and make some stars communicate with him thus we solve leap day. we never know why ozone sees stars or gets messages. is it because he is autistic??? he doesn't even get a clear message from the stars so there was no point. ozone is not even day's actual brother so what does that whole plot do?
if u watch the first few episodes and then skip over to the last few u won't miss anything cause nothing of change happens. we through many years in the series but we can never differentiate . night and dream know each other since highschool but there are no changes. i assume night and day and the whole group meet each other at 2020 and become close over the years but we only see them become close in the 2nd last episode. even the solution at last doesn't feel proper, like there are no connections, just randomly came up with in the last few seconds. this series honestly felt like such a waste given that the they didn't care the develop it past its initial idea

Fairly investing and brilliant acting

All of their acting exceeded my expectations. While there were plotholes the acting and story progression made me watch till the end. It was more character centric than plot centric, which I expected it to be the later.

The plot showed the how very clearly. How they are dying, how they are meeting, how they are separating and how to stop the curse of Leap Day but it would have been even incredible if it showed a why. They only focused on fixing the problem. I was wishing they would keep some theories on extraterrestrial elements and phenomenon as to why 2 people born on the leap days are sharing such cruel faith. This would have given more depth and clarity on the plot making it even interesting to watch.

I was fairly surprised with the acting. Gun is as good as he is, I shouldn't even say anything about him. Dew truly surprised me with his acting. Pond was different from his other roles. Pahn being new did a fantastic job. It is a heavy emotion drama and they did awesome.

The cinematography was flawless. Except the scenes of ep 12 I liked everything they did. The green screen could have done better. I loved the way the cameras showed different sides making us see the whole thing and everyone's emotions.

The plot could have gone deeper and explored more on the theories of physics, psychology, illusions, paradox and human mind. It felt too character centric but it was well made and very intriguing. It truly showcased how life, death and loved ones are all tangled in this world. Did tear up at some point towards the end

the stars told me to write

let me get this out of the way.....
DAMN YOU DAY! YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO DIE!!!!

i was scared to even start this series, but it really is one of the most well written and executed stories!

Day and Ozone have my entire heart!! god i loved their relationship so soo much, i was almost possessive over them 😭

we often see the sun and moon analogy in couples. but with day and night, that analogy got a new form.
and its still very much visible, the difference in their dynamic.

i wish to be aw cheerful and positive as dream. every scene with her felt like a cool fresh breeze.

while there are a few pacing and plot issues, but the acting makes up for it.

i SAW that finger move. c'mon day! come back and recite the planets <3

I LOVE THIS SERIES

I never expected Leap Day to hit me this hard, but it truly did. The story was solid, the production flawless, the OST beautifully haunting, the visual effects polished, and the acting… honestly, beyond words.
The moments that broke me the most were in episodes 11 and 12, when Day (Pond Naravit) sacrificed himself to save his brother Ozone. I cried so much during those scenes.. like I couldn’t even breathe properly. It wasn’t just sad, it was devastating in the most beautiful way. Pond Naravit’s performance as Day was absolutely unforgettable. He didn’t just play the role, he became Day. Every tear, every struggle, every sacrifice felt real, and that’s why it hurt so deeply.
and also the entire cast was incredible. From the leads to the supporting characters, everyone delivered genuine and powerful performances that made the whole story come alive. The chemistry between them felt natural, the emotions raw, and the effort they poured into each scene was undeniable. Together, they made this series shine in a way few shows ever do.
For me, Leap Day isn’t just a series, it’s an emotional experience. It made me laugh, it made me cry endlessly, and it reminded me how powerful storytelling can be when every detail is done right.

Truly, one of the best series I’ve ever watched.

Incredibly beautiful

Though Pond is my Bias. However, the storyline acting and everything was top notch. Pond did as expected. Gun has always been good actor. He showed the true reflection of a person having learning disabilities. As for Pahn and Dew they also did amazing. My heart ached for Day. I want part 2 for Leap Day. I want my Day alive.

Amazing!

This is one of the best series i have seen. A very unique story en so very well executed. GMMTV did it again! This is a must see!
This series got me fully hooked from the first episode.

All four leads were amazing, but i want to specially point out Gun. I have only seen one series with him before this and that was well acted but i wasn't that impressed for some unknown reason. But he has shown me wrong with Leap day. This is one of the best Thai actors out here!

Though it was a very serious story they also managed to slip in some realy, really funny moments that made me laugh out loud and that surpised me.
Please just go and watch this, you won't be dissapointed. I will definatly watch it again in the future.

Very good series

It’s a very good series to watch . I like the script, actors and actress. Very nice cinematographic, color graded and story. At time I watched I don’t know the story ending so I finished in on day. I was shocked at the end but I feel fulfilled and satisfied after finishing it. Just give the series a try and watch it.

I can't stand Night.

I really wanted to like this but I can't anymore I have watched 5 episodes and can't find a lick of sense in the story everyone's acting except Gun is atrocious, Pond has never been more stiff and Dew just can't pull of the cool silent type.

I was looking forward to this because the premise seems so interesting and I am sure that with the right script and casting it could've but as it is this is a total mess and an absolute waste of Gun's talent. I did my best to bear with it and watch the whole thing through but I can't stand Night he's so unreasonably god!! yes I understand why he acts the way he does but he's too much poor Dream is so sweet and he treats her so badly I can't with him anymore.

Elegant

Leap Day is a short, sweet Thai BL mini-series released as part of GMMTV's Valentine's project. It focuses on a budding romance that blooms around the rare occasion of a leap day—February 29th—and how fate brings two people together, even if it’s just for a moment. Leap Day is not loud or dramatic—it’s tender, tragic, and hopeful all at once. A hauntingly beautiful story about love that returns when it shouldn't… and the courage to let go. It reminds us that even the shortest love stories can be eternal.this piece proves that even a brief encounter can leave a permanent mark on the heart.

A MUST-WATCH

i dont really watch non-bl series (except for gls).. and wasnt planning to watch "Leap Day" as i saw from the trailer that it was not a bl or a gl.. but somehow.. i have binge watched all 5 episodes yesterday.. AND IT IS DAMNNN AMAZING

WARNING : SPOLIER AHEAD

..

..

okay so.. here's what i think is the loophole.. the doctor who was in charge of the birth of Day.. (who was born during the day).. he messed up the delivery.. and ended up killing the mother.. then he came up with an idea.. to survive the blames.. he decided to turn this MURDER into a CURSE.. and killed another baby's mother.. who was born that night.. and was named Night..
after that.. as we know so far.. the families and others started making complains.. so in order to keep up with that.. and save his career (avoid punishment for the murders).. he decided to keep killing one by one the family members of the 2 babies.. every 4 years.. now.. by doing this.. he has 3 gains-
1. The mothers' deaths are considered as "curse"
2. the family/relatives who might complaint against him to the law.. will be dead
3. the babies (Day and Night).. will forever blame themselves.. and never try to know the real cause again..

also.. we can see.. that Professor Wiwat.. takes a leave on his birthday.. probably bcz.. he goes out with a murder plan on that day.. and all of this is just my guess.. let's see what the real story is ! 😉

10/10 Pond's flawless performance as Day

Pond's portrayal of Day in Leap Day is nothing short of extraordinary. His performance is deeply emotional, layered, and incredibly genuine. One of Pond's greatest strengths as an actor is his ability to express a wide range of emotions without saying a single word. Through just a look, a pause, or a subtle shift in his expression, he conveys the inner world of his character with remarkable depth and clarity.
His face is undeniably charismatic; not just in terms of appearance, but in the way it holds and expresses emotion.
Every scene he appears in feels alive because of the raw intensity he brings. The pain, the love, the confusion, the sadness, the happiness, the longing; it's all there, written on his face like poetry.
Pond doesn't simply act; he becomes Day. He brings such honesty and depth to the role that it's impossible not to connect with his character. His presence elevates every moment, and his performance plays a major role in making Leap Day such a captivating and emotionally charged series.
Pond truly deserves the highest recognition and rewards for his flawless and powerful acting.
