Amazing intimacy in action!

Even though there were a couple of hitches along the way, and for some of the characters, I would wish they had a better-developed arc, I really enjoyed the second season. I fell in love with their interactions and the intimacy they shared.
What also struck me as wonderful was the mention of the recent legalization of same-sex marriages. While some shows have already explored this theme, I appreciate how it's becoming more normalized, despite still being a difficult topic for many people to accept or understand. The other notable aspect is the actors' ability to convey the deep intimacy between the characters and even between themselves, which was fantastic. Overall: recommended!

A Sweet and Heartwarming Sequel

Pit Babe Season 2 is such a heartwarming continuation of Pitt and Babe’s love story. Their chemistry feels softer, deeper, and even more sincere this season. Babe’s growth is so sweet to watch, and Pitt’s steady love makes every scene feel comforting. The moments between them the small smiles, gentle touches, and honest conversations truly stand out. The supporting characters add charm, the visuals are pretty, and the story stays light but emotional in all the right ways. Overall, it’s a sweet, feel-good BL that leaves you smiling after every episode.

Script completely changed, scenes cut off and no respect for the actors and fans.

So, where should I begin?
I suppose we all know by now that, during the final episode's screening, Chod (chief executive officer of change2561) told before hundreds of fans that SHE basically changed the script how she wanted (her words were "If we talk about the script, it's an original that I made myself, I can do whatever I want with it. I can make the villain as strong as I want or the hero as weak as I want") alas why this season sucked and some characters' choices and behavior didn't make sense (example Alan). You can understand what type of woman manages this company.

Second important point: the infamous AlanJeff bathtub scene. This scene was and still is one of the most anticipated, showed in the trailer and included in the photobook, many fans bought the tickets for the final episode just to watch it in the theater. Now, you can imagine the disappointment when this scene wasn't shown, because it was decided to cut it off completely from the episode.
It's not the first time they cut scenes off of other couple, but this in particular it's a scam because it was promoted in many occasions and during interviews (that can be found on yt). People pay a subscription to watch a determined content, and when this content cannot be watched in its entirety, it's not fair towards people who spend their money; then we can talk about the complete lack of respect towards their actors and fans. The bathtub scene was filmed for more than three hours, until SailubPon were sore (because did you see how small was the bathtub?) and they were also naked: this tells you how much they worked hard and dedicated they were in giving us, fans, something to be proud of and to look forward to, but to Change matters only the money. Yesterday, episode 13's reaction was uploaded, and we know for a fact that the cast react to it way before the episode it's uploaded on iQIYI or yt. The entire cast knew about the bathtub scene, and when I tell you the faces they made when they saw it was cut off completely, Sailub and Pon were devastated, their smiles faded, they were heartbroken. The company didn't even inform them of the cut beforehand, instead it decided to do this vile thing.
It's been five days and Change hasn't given yet an explanation, answers or most importantly apologised to Sailub and Pon. Change treated them as tools basically, it used them to make and lure fans to spend money for something that, in the end, wasn't shown.

Anyway, I apologize for the rant, but I dislike injustice and unfairness.

To conclude, I feel sorry for the actors that had to read and act a script that wasn't how it was supposed to be, they are not to blame. The only thing that cheers me up is that they had a great time together.

I don’t get the hate

I’m writing this more for myself but I noticed that a lot of people who are writing review are giving it a low rating and hating on it. I now have watched both of the season and can say then although a second season wasn’t needed it felt nice to see, worry, and cheer for the character all over again. I loved how the plot was new yet still continued off of the ending of season one. I may be biased however I truly enjoyed it the actors all did an incredible job and I can proudly say that this is one of the few best and 10/10 Thai bls of this year. Absolutely loved it and enjoyed how the series ended off as a whole.

Pit Babe 2 and The Lost Race

They really revved up the engine in this second season.

This series managed to fall short of my expectations. And they weren't very high.
Honestly, I already knew it was going to be a bomb from the trailer, when it showed the character coming back from the dead (literally). But it managed to be worse than that
I decided to separate it into topics to make the review easier to understand, so yes, the texts about the eternal pit stop that was this series are going to be long! (I'm laughing so I don't cry)

1. The couples didn't click;

Honestly, what was that? A series that sets out to have five main couples, with ten characters as protagonists (according to MDL himself), had to at least know how to balance that right. Let's start from the beginning. The couples who had been together since last season, CharlieBabe (Poon and Pavel) and AlanJeff (Sailub and Pon), had NEGATIVE development. They undid everything they had built in the first season (with a lot of struggle on Alan and Charlie's part), and the attention to the problems they created lasted for episodes and episodes, and it felt like I was going around in circles. Unnecessarily.
The other three couples, KimKenta (Benz and Garfield), NorthSonic (Michael and TopTen), and PeteChris (Ping and Nut)... WHAT FOR?! Of the three couples, one spent the series in a never-ending limbo, and when they got together it was so... What for, you know? They seemed like a teenage couple, I understand that they were built up in the first season (Sonic more or less, but I'll get to that) and that now it was just a matter of evolving... BUT THEY DIDN'T EVOLVE PROPERLY, I don't know, everything seemed too fast and forced, as if they had a greater urgency than their screen time...
And the other two couples don't even talk to each other. Damn, all the crying throughout the series for them to give an open ending to the two. Nothing, and when I say nothing, I mean absolutely nothing, was well developed in this shit. Pete's overcoming his issues, Chris being a bastard son, Kim's feelings, Kenta's traumas. It seems like they wiped out 100% of all the characters and put them together just to make couples. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT RIGHT.

I mean, was it necessary? So many wrong decisions were made. And that brings us to the second topic.

2. Between a thousand decisions and emptiness

The number of unnecessary decisions that were made gives me a headache. It was plot after plot, twist after twist, I could barely breathe. Willy is a new competitor, Kim leaves X-Hunter, Chris returns, skill serum test, Sonic returns from France, Dean Winner and Kenta are kidnapped, and that's just in the first episode. Not to mention all the other plots involving car accidents, hospitalizations, memory loss, marriage, relationships. Literally every character had more than one huge problem, and almost all of them were resolved in totally lazy ways. Alan's surgery, Tony's return, and blah blah blah.
And then comes the question: Is it necessary or is it an absence of dialogue without a problem? Did the writers (who were four people, it's worth noting) know what they were doing when they put all that suffering into Charlie's supposed death, when everyone had been warned less than an episode earlier that Tony's powers were to revive if he drank his own blood? COME ON, WE KNEW HE HAD CLEARLY SWALLOWED HIS OWN BLOOD, and yet there was a whole unnecessary scene followed by more crying. Guys, it wasn't difficult, they just had to hide that they knew or not tell the viewer. They just had to change the order of things.
Worse, either the series was full of 436098 problems per second or everything was lukewarm and stagnant, and that just makes everything more boring. Things that didn't need attention got all the spotlight, while the real problems, which should truly be taken into account, were simply forgiven.

Which brings us to our third point

3. Apologies accepted, next scene

For the love of God, where is these people's sense of awareness and forgiveness? This is a problem that has been going on since the first season. The character screws up, hides the screw-up, the screw-up is discovered, the others say he shouldn't have done that, the screw-up is forgiven. The narrative continues.
This happened to Way in the first season, and as far as I can remember, only to him. But here? Alan, Willy, Chris, Pete, everyone screws up and eventually, everything is fine again.
Did Willy practically abuse Babe? The problem lies in the alleged betrayal. Did Alan literally betray Charlie for power? It's okay, we're a family. Pete stays in this eternal limbo and shoves emotional responsibility where the sun doesn't shine? It's okay, Chris is too apathetic to feel it.
It seems like these writers are playing with me. We're some kind of joke, it's not possible.

I'm not going into more detail because that brings us to our fourth topic.

4. Betrayed by their own story

The narrative infidelity of this group left me DISTURBED. There were moments when I would stop and think, “Who the hell is this person and what did they do to this character?”
The biggest and most visible example is Alan. Come on, in what universe would Alan do what he did in the first season? Even with that incoherent excuse of “It's to save so-and-so.” He wasn't blackmailed into having powers, and the way he hid everything from Jeff even after nagging him for five episodes about sincerity and conversations in a relationship doesn't make any sense.
Then there's Pete, who didn't know if he had gotten over Way or not, and everyone is caught up in this huge game of ping-pong. Charlie, who is one of the most trusting, distrusts Babe and just LEAVES. Sonic, with his great skills and interest in studying fashion in France, which basically came out of nowhere, since he spent the entire first season recording videos (and I didn't even know North wanted to be a pilot, but I'm not sure when that was explored).
Not to mention the total exclusion at the end of the first season. I mean, Babe's biological father, all those kids, the fucking house. BABE'S BIOLOGICAL FATHER
Wasn't the guy the one who had advanced the most in the realm of serum abilities? The guy didn't have a single flash of those abilities this season. They didn't even give a lame excuse, he was just forgotten by the plot. They were going to move, they talked about marriage all the time, it seems like we've taken a huge step backwards in this business, the serum already worked on Charlie in the first season, so now there's no glimpse of things working out? For God's sake, guys.

Speaking of powers...

5. The fantasy of absurdity

Holy shit. Okay, the narrative revolves around powers and a POSSIBLE omegaverse (I'll come back to this topic later).
WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE POWERS FOR? It seems like everyone is playing Winx and saying, “but my power is to steal powers, but his power is to see the future,” meaning that not only is this thing out of nowhere, but it's also totally ?????
This specific point is the least annoying to me, but I need my point for the next topic.

So, what is the reason for the powers, really?

6. Omegaverse. Without omega. And without the verse.

If you're going to sell the fucking product/series as an omegaverse, YOU MAKE THE FUCKING OMEGAVERSE.
Guys, if you know what omegaverse is and you know what it means, ESPECIALLY in the minds of people who follow the Asian LGBT universe, and you deliver THAT, you're asking to take more criticism in a week than you've drunk water in your entire life.
People expected Betas, Omegas, and Alphas, and pregnancy and heat and all the fucking stuff that goes with it. And they got little powers and quotes about Enigmas and special Alphas. That's not what the series promised.
Since the first season, the series has been based on this whole story of being an omegaverse, and that's what everyone expected. And even with this POOR offering of goals in the first season, hopes for the second were higher than ever. And they were dashed with buckets of water.
Apart from the clear absence of female characters, there is literally ONE SINGLE NAMED WOMAN in all 13 episodes, and if you add it all up, the poor thing has about 5 minutes of screen time, rounding up.
They considered literally removing the omegaverse from the second season. I ask you now, if this universe was so relevant to the first part of the narrative or even to the second, would it really be removed so easily? I don't think so.

And after the slaps and insults, let's be kind and raise the only point that I found good

6. The Villains in pole position

Among the forgettable heroes, we had memorable villains, we had Tony, but we didn't have more of the same.
We all knew that Tony was despicable from the beginning, but he was literally the only character who didn't fall into the curse of “I forgive you, it's okay.”
Come on, personally speaking, I have a huge passion for villains who fulfill their role of being bad people.
Tony is trash, he is everything that is worst in high society, the total embodiment of someone who thinks that money can buy anything, and everything he does, consumes, and acts shows that.
He is hateful, not only to those in the series but also to us mere viewers, and that is why I think it is incredible.
The script wasn't afraid to turn him into someone terrible and horrible; he's really bad.
Willy, on the other hand, is a kind of antihero antagonist. He's bad, he irritates you, he does terrible things, except for forgiving Tony almost immediately after all that nonsense, he follows through on what he does. He only helped people because it benefited him, he only went after everyone because he wanted to kill Tony. He was selfish, he was ironic and provocative, he fulfilled his role of being aggressive and skeptical to the point that it was fun to watch him annoy everyone. The sometimes disproportionate reactions were funny.

I really think PitBabe was saved by the villains

In the end, Pitbabe was just a huge misleading advertisement for the megaverse. Using the success of the first season and the love people have for the main actors to sell the product. Looking closely, I can think of more than one moment when the series was abandonable, but they all end with a “Well, let's see where this goes.” Guess what? It went nowhere. Despite the harsh criticism of the actors in this series, I don't think they faltered as much as many people say here. Honestly, I think they were the most cohesive, or least worst, as you prefer. In This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans, we see that they are good, Benz and Garfield have chemistry, Sailun and Pon know what they are doing, and now with I'm The Most Beautiful Count, we also see that Pete and Supanut are not messing around either. Technical terms aside, they are good, but everything was extremely poorly executed, with more plot holes than a sieve.

Not to mention the way Peter Nopachai (director) handled it all. They had the budget, the investment was high, but the weak and poorly written script ruined everything.

All we can do is sit back and hope that the next ones will be better.

PitBabe 2 participated in a race with no opponents, and even so, it lost. Twists and turns, the narrative decisions got worse with each episode, in a stream of disasters and bad decisions. The villains, unlike in the series, saved themselves, but they were just a flash of what the series could have been. Not every team deserves to be cheered on, and PitBabe showed that maybe in the end you're like a Ferrari fan. No prospect of improvement, but still there.

Great second season

I really enjoyed this second season of Pitbabe. I was a worthy sequel of the great first season. It had enough exiting moments and some good plot twists.
Great visuals and story. I didn't like the OST, de cast aren't very strong singers, they better could have chosen for other singers.
The acting is great, they are all good actors.

I'll probably watch it again in the future.

? My Honest Review of Pit Babe Season 2

Without Spoilers

First of all, I want to say a massive thank you to the director, the actors, the staff, and everyone involved in the making of Pit Babe. Bringing us Season 2 means the world to me — and to so many fans. This is the first drama I’ve watched where I loved everyone in the room. Every single character. Not one person I disliked. That’s how deep this story touched me. 💔

---

💫 Babe

From Season 1 to now, Babe has always been Babe — fierce, determined, and fighting for what he wants. He’s been through so much. His strength and vulnerability make him so unique. I couldn’t even begin to review all the details of his growth because it’s too emotional to put into words. I’ll just say: he’s unforgettable.

---

💞 Charlie

Charlie (Pupu) has one mission in this life — to make things easier for Babe. His heart is full of love and care, and it shows in every scene. He’s the type of person who holds others together, and his loyalty to Babe is 100% solid. That’s what makes him so lovable. I can’t even imagine this story without Charlie.

---

🕶️ Tony

Now let’s talk about Tony. I know he’s the villain, the dangerous one, the one who makes everything tense—but I won’t lie: Tony is cute 😭. That long hair, those edits on TikTok… they got me! 😂 Even though he’s terrifying in the story, I still catch myself saying, “Awww.” (Let’s forget I said that 😅)

---

🧠 Jeff

Jeff is smart — like really smart. Since Season 1, he’s been the brains of the team. The fact that he can see into the future makes him even more powerful, and once I understood how he used his ability, everything started making sense. He’s the quiet power.

---

👨‍👦 Alan / Uncle

Alan is the true definition of a father figure. The way he protects and guides everyone… it’s powerful. He’s the heart of the team, always ready to sacrifice himself to save them. That’s the strength of a real Alpha. His character hit me deep.

---

🔥 Chris

Chris is handsome, sharp, dangerous, and cool. The way he handles situations, wears his uniform, and plays the game — whew! He’s very different from the rest. I don’t want to spoil anything, but he deserves way more attention 👀.

---

👫 North & Sonic

These two are friendship goals! True ride-or-die best friends. They protect their people like family, and they’re always there, no matter what. If the whole world turns on you, North and Sonic will still be by your side. That’s rare and beautiful.

---

💪 Pete

Pete is strong, honest, and caring. He doesn’t sugarcoat anything, and he’ll do whatever it takes to protect the people he loves. I respect him a lot for that. Even though I don’t have much to say about him, I can feel his effort in every scene.

---

🐺 Kim & Kenta

Kim joined the team later, and now he feels like family. Kenta, who was once treated like a black sheep, turns out to be a precious white sheep who just needed love and attention. Their journey together is heartwarming. It reminds me that even when people are misunderstood, they can still find belonging.

---

💘 Winner & Dean

I want to ship these two SO bad 😭😭. The chemistry is crazy. I feel like they need their own series — even a short one! I would watch it immediately. They deserve more screen time as a main couple. I hope one day that happens.

---

⚪⚫ Willy

Willy is… complicated. Sometimes I think he’s a villain, sometimes I think he’s just a lost soul trying to escape Tony. He gives black-and-white energy at the same time. His handsome face confuses me, but he definitely made an impact.

---

🧡 Final Thoughts

That’s it for me... for now. I didn’t go too deep into plot because I don’t want to spoil anything for new watchers — and trust me, you don’t want spoilers for this one. This series deserves to be experienced fully, blindly, and emotionally. So if you're thinking of watching Pit Babe, DO IT.

Season 2 has been a wild ride. Full of love, danger, loyalty, pain, and healing. But just know… this show lives in my heart rent free. Forever.

Crashed Before the Finish Line

After finishing Season 1 of Pit Babe out of commitment more than enjoyment, I gave Season 2 a chance. I shouldn’t have.

I dropped the show after Episode 1.

The premiere alone made it painfully clear that the series hadn’t learned from its previous mistakes. Instead of tightening the writing, refining character arcs, or addressing the glaring inconsistencies that plagued the first season, Season 2 dives headfirst into the same chaotic storytelling — only louder and more exaggerated.

The tone feels off almost immediately. What should be high-stakes drama comes across as forced and cringeworthy, with characters behaving in ways that feel engineered purely to spark conflict rather than emerging naturally from who they are. Emotional tension isn’t built; it’s manufactured. Miscommunication is once again the primary driving force of the plot, and it already feels repetitive from the first episode.

One of the most frustrating aspects is how little narrative grounding there seems to be. The show continues to rely on powers, shifting alliances, and dramatic twists without establishing clear rules or logical progression. Instead of intrigue, there’s confusion. Instead of suspense, there’s exhaustion.

From what I’ve gathered from viewers who completed the season, things only get messier. Plot holes remain unresolved. New characters add clutter rather than depth. Serious themes are introduced and handled carelessly. Even the core relationships — arguably the backbone of the series — reportedly suffer from out-of-character decisions, unnecessary lying arcs, and recycled breakup drama.

The finale controversy only reinforces the sense of disorganization. A heavily promoted scene was allegedly cut without explanation, including from paid “uncut” versions, leaving many fans feeling misled. Whether intentional or not, it contributes to the broader impression that this season lacked cohesion and care.

To be fair, the cast continues to put in effort. The actors do what they can with the material they’re given. But strong performances cannot salvage writing that feels rushed, inconsistent, and at times unintentionally self-parodying.

Season 2 doesn’t feel like a necessary continuation. It feels like a product of momentum — a follow-up made because the first season gained attention, not because there was a compelling story left to tell.

I gave it one episode. That was enough.

Not impressed by the first episode

I was expecting more from the new series but I didn't see anything to pull me in or make me curious.
Once the full season has aired I'll probably watch another episode just in case it gets better. The characters need more emotion because the actors are looking quite bad & compared to Pit Babe, which I enjoyed, this is not good. Each character appears to be the same, just played by a different actor.
