Xing Rou arranges for Duan Jin Yao to do menial jobs to prevent her from falling into prostitution. She sees Yi Nian entering and exiting the Yi Mansion with a violin teacher, and mistakenly thinks Yi Nian is Yi Qiu Ting's child with someone else. Wu Chong Mo's investigation at the hospital yields no results. Xing Rou gives up searching and confirms that her child is dead. Wu Chong Mo finds out that Peng Wu lives in an old apartment, and the two test each other. Troubled by nightmares and depression, Xing Rou is advised by her doctor to make peace with her past. Peng Wu reports Wu Chong Mo's return, and Yi Qiu Ting requests to meet him. After Xing Rou and Yi Nian meet by chance, they have a telepathic connection.
