Tired of the whining sister

The story arc between the sisters already feels worn out. I'm tired of the jealous sister whining about everything!

I dont understand why the ML is now seemingly…

I dont understand why the ML is now seemingly also competing for FL s favour in this marriage proposal game. I mean i understand, but as of now isnt he just a servant. And how could he be like a substitute shield for her cousin. In that Tea Party it made sense, but acting lovey dovey in the garden… like what is he then in this moment? A substitute? But you cant like act romantic as a place holder, nobody think she is in love now with Cousin Wen. So that kinda dosent make sense or i just dont understand.But so far i continue to stick with this drama, is weirdly still entertaining.

Many Schemes Afoot

Episode is full of especially pretty scenery. The set design is really lovely.

Spoilers:

The claws come out! In a shocking twist, Fifth Sister (blind sis) joins Fourth Sister (evil sis) in a scheme to mock and bully the scholar. Fifth Sister seems to flirt with LJL a bit. What is she scheming?

RSB (Rong Shan Bao—FL) propositions LJL (Lu Jiang Lai, aka Lord Lu, aka Fusheng—ML) with a scheme ultimately designed to keep Cousin Wen safe. He rejects her, but counteroffers by proposing a more-blatantly obvious means to appear as her favored one. He asks what’s in it for him. She promises to find out who tried to kill him and offers him complete protection. He starts openly flirting with her which stirs up deadly jealousy amongst amongst the suitors.

The way LJL made RSB smile in that swing though! The ice queen is slowly melting.
