Deserve an 11/10 rating
After what happened to Ohm and Leng I vowed not to watch this series, but Head2Head made me reconsider my stance, because Surf and Java were so good in it.When I started the series I went in with high expectations — thanks to Ohmleng pilot — and I wasn't disappointed. Seeing certain comments here asking why this mini series is so highly recommend and rated is funny. First and foremost this series sticks to its plot, it set out to show us how Tum and Oh travelled to 9 temples to fulfill their promise. Secondly the enemies to lovers troupe was so perfectly executed, there was no doubt that they hated each other and yet slowly but steadily they fall in love. Third their love story is convincing, not rushed but creeping up on them, and us the viewers so stealthily yet openly that we are not surprised to see them make out, flashbacks like Messi literally in front of Oh and Tum — and yet not seen by the two love birds confirm how they had become so captivated with each other. Oh's love for his grandmother in the little screentime they get is also heartwarming.
Fourth the growth of the Main character of the story; Tum. At the beginning of the series we see a Tum anxious to belong, weak willed and indecisive, yet his interactions with Oh begins to influence his mindset, he starts to question who he really is and what he wants. The climax of the story was when he took away Oh's trousers and watched Oh break down. He learns from his mistakes, grows and fights to protect those he loves. At the last episode Tum who always ran from a fight, Tum who was always scared 'cause of his gang and followed the crowd, stood up and openly declared his love for Christopher Booying (Oh) he also fights and to everyone surprise — thanks to his preserverance — wins his very first fight without help. Character growth is further emphasized by his willingness to give up his position as gang leader — now that he truly understands what friendship means. Choosing to give Oh the very Nuea-in badge that brought about all the fighting reveals how mature and confident he has become. That he leaves his leadership position willing just to date Christopher Booying shows that he now really knows what he wants!
Fifth is friendship, Messi played by Louis is the exemplar of a true friend, he stands by Tum in all his decisions, encourages him to love Oh and helps thwart the Nuea-in gang from finding out about Oh and Tum's visit to the nine temples. Gmmtv really rocked with this one.

Amazing Enemies to Lovers
What a gem!!! The plot, the comedy, the chemistry, the romance build up; everything was SO GOOD. Sad it was so short but overall it was such an amazing series. One of my favorites so far!If you're debating on watching this, take this review as a sign to watch it. Its quick and short but so wonderful. Will miss them.

Chemistry, good acting, funny and lovely.
It’s just so amazing... I love the details, the way that the history is properly built. It’s only four episodes, so imagine my surprise that everything is WELL DEVELOPED!?It’s better than a lot of series that have like 20 episodes, bcs everything is well made.
First, the acting: it’s perfect. They are 2 actors that are still rookies, and they DELIVER. In the comedy aspect, the drama, everything. The intimacy is on point too, I refer to it as the more romantic aspect (they look like a couple in love, they have this chemistry, which is strangely... unusual in a lot of BLs) and also the friendship aspect. They have fun together, they understand each other, and that’s clear.
It’s a great screenplay too, it’s perfectly made. Nothing is lost, everything is well made. The director did such a good job (I just took a look at her resume and it was the first series that she directed, which is insane?? GIVE THIS WOMAN INFINITE BUDGET).
Muteluv as a whole is so incredible in the cultural aspect, another masterpiece. One of the best and most creative projects made by GMMTV ever, I loved it!
One of the best cases of cast changing ever. Along with Santa in P10L.

one of the best bls ever made.
scratch that, this was one of the best shows ive ever watched.i randomly clicked on it because i loved muteluv with seakeen and figured id give it a shot. i was not expecting to absolutely LOVE it. every part of this show was amazing. i never cry during shows. but i cried on the third episode realizing there was only one more to go. the story is so interesting, the acting and chemistry is AMAZING, the comedy scenes are hilarious and the romance is just the most perf enemies to lovers.
10/10.

Ótimo para assistir em uma sexta feira a noite
Mesmo sendo bem curtinho, com apenas 4 episódios, essa mini história consegue manter um ritmo gostoso do começo ao fim.Os personagens começam naquele clássico enemies to lovers que a gente adora: líderes de gangues rivais, implicância constante, tensão…
E falando nisso, Surf e Java entregaram uma química muito boa dentro do tempo que tiveram. Gostei bem mais deles aqui do que em um outro trabalho que vi deles.
A série é leve e divertidinha, com aquele clima de comédia romântica adolescente. Só tem uma parte bem específica do episódio 3 que pesou um pouco o clima, e acho que todo mundo sentiu o impacto ali. Ainda assim, não chega a quebrar totalmente o tom da história.
Como são só 4 episódios, fica difícil desenvolver completamente os personagens. O BL divide foco entre

Então realmente não dá tempo de explorar mais a fundo coisas como a vida familiar do Oh e do Tum, os desejos individuais deles ou conflitos mais profundos.
Acho que simpatizei mais com o Oh por motivos óbvios. O Tum me irritou um pouco, como ele não conseguia enxergar que se provar pra gangue não iria mudar muita coisa, não dá forma que ele queria.
Nem esperava beijo, muito menos cenas um pouco mais calientes, mas eles provarem que o sucesso está nos detalhes. Tipo aquela cena do Tum tirando o anel 🫢
Mas no fim, acho que entregou exatamente o que prometeu: uma história leve, com trope popular e química convincente.
Fica um leve gostinho de quero mais no final, mas terminei o bl satisfeita.

Fresca y no larga, vale la pena si te interesan las historias de jóvenes.
MeTeLuv es una especie de película de carretera (road movie) visitando templos tailandeses.El recorrido se hace atractivo si te interesa esa cultura, pero sin profundización alguna en lo religioso. Se quedan con la parte colorida y amable, que sirve de hilo conductor para la historia de los protagonistas.
Es fresca, graciosa, no excesivamente larga. No aporta nada nuevo, pero probablemente sea del gusto de los seguidores de BL, especialmente los jóvenes.
Para ser jóvenes y tener menos experiencia que otras conocidas parejas, no hacen mal papel. ¿Te recuerda Tum en algún momento a un Apo joven?
La falta de pretensiones profundas es precisamente lo que hace más entretenida la serie.

Muito fofos
Não tem oque falar de ruim, a única coisa é que foi muito curto 😭 mas esse era o intuito. Eles seriam um HIT se fizessem uma série maior, se aprofundando mais nesse estilo enemies to lovers. Foi minha primeira vez assistindo algo dos SurfJava e amei muito, eles atuam muito bem e tem muita química, são uns fofos! A história é legal, a OST é completamente viciante, o último episódio foi o melhor pra mim! Sem falar da cinematografia impecável desse bl, os templos deram um charmeeee, super recomendo! vc vê rapidinho e fica com o coração quentinho >_<Was this review helpful to you?
