I am not good with reviews but let me first share my opinions in brief.
why i loved it?
1st handsome ML and SML ! my first criteria as a woman. talented and handsome. so ladies your eyes would be pleased.
2nd bromance was also very good. no unnecessary drama plot between main Lead actress and the male actors. Just sweet jeleousy.
3rd. extreme chemistry between are leads. I am also fond of Jin Zi Xuan, she has good chemistries with main leads.
In a historical romance setting, this is one of the best. As a mature couple, you kiss each other often,which is present in this drama. The passion is clearly given the in romantic scenes. Since our leads waited each other for years, the romance must be passionate not sweet. Loved it!

the story you may think is a cliché. But I enjoyed the strong female lead backup buy a smart handsome main lead and second lead. I enjoyed it. if you want to watch something less emotional burden (on your chest) this is the drama. In my opinion, this drama could have been a longer one. for me it was short though i really enjoyed it!
Costumes were also great for a short drama. fancy and elegant
Some of you will find the relationship between the emperor and her sister awkward but im not giving any spoilers.
