Pure and Loft, burdened with guilt for hurting Air, chose to part ways and vowed never to meet again. Years went by, and each of them followed a different path. Pure held an exhibition of her work, where she unexpectedly met Lamp and asked about Air and Loft. Air was preparing to move abroad permanently, while Loft had devoted herself to running a pool villa business in the countryside, rarely returning to Bangkok. One day, Pure went back to the familiar restaurant where she used to dine with both Loft and Air—and there, she finally encountered the one she had been waiting for all along. That was the ending?

I really did not have any expectations when I started watching Roller Coaster. The only thing I could guess, from the poster, was that it looked like a love triangle. I binged this series in just a few days, not because it was the greatest, but I was just curious to see how it will all "blow up in the end" for all of them, especially Air. It was incredibly selfish to string along both Lamp and Pure for all those years. Yes, familial obligations are real, no joke but do not do half-relationships for both parties (esp. using Lamp's family's money) - that was incredibly unfair to them. For ep 8, I agree with another reviewer. The break-up was also absolutely unnecessary because everything before it, Pure said she would not break Loft's heart. Yes, Pure felt "guilty" (having "moved" on from Air) but she should not have. Air kept telling her not to wait for her, and Pure met someone who made her truly happy, finally, and gave her the attention and love she deserved. The ending was confusing to me, I just could not wrap my head around it. I am not a fan of quick (wrap) endings, they feel like such an afterthought, and they feel like they are cheating the audience, ones who have invested time and energy into the series.

it's the "annoying time jump following an unnecessary breakup" trope!

this breakup was was so pointless and illogical. why would they break up when doing so does nothing to improve the situation with air? neither one of them ever seemed to feel much guilt about being together before. and didn't pure just promise to never hurt loft? how could they leave each other so resolutely after everything? it feels like the writers just wanted to squeeze in one last twist, even if it meant having characters act contrary to their nature (and all reason!). but all's well that ends well, i guess, and i'm glad that at least pure and loft got their happy ending together

Five Stars

It’s a very beautiful episode and very heartbreaking episode. Love the acting of Shelly as she is my favorite of three. It’s very sad to know that Pure and Loft decided to break up in the end, didn’t expect it to be like it. However, love to see that Loft came back to Pure in the end to say hello.
