It was GOOD
When I saw the pilot for this series I was confused like who like who...who was first. And my impression about the actresses were off. Until I started watching and am like PURE aint easy self!!! At first I was like nice...during it got exciting ( their intimacy is top tier) the ending did throw me off a bit with Air. But she's entitled to her feelings even if they seemed a bit petty. I loved it mevertheless...each one of those actresses deserve to be recognized! A job Well Done! Was this review helpful to you?
Departure From the Usual Thai GL Formula - No Cliches, Tropes, Aegyo and Cringiness
Roller Coaster's cinematography, screenplay and directing is truly stunning. It doesn't feel like the usual Thai soap opera there are no recycled or drawn out plotlines, cringey aegyo scenes, they didn't lean into the usual everyone's forgiven and there are no consequences for your actions ending and there are also no non-consent intimate scenes. Instead the story is realistic and grounded and all characters face the consequences for their actions. I also like how the acting isn't overtly dramatic which is common in Thai GLs instead the acting here is more natural and grounded. Was this review helpful to you?
Not a storyline that I like
Felt like Air been betrayed by both of her loved ones. How the scandal started, and both acknowledged it.
Tho, Air maybe intact in a marriage but we understand how she fought for it.
Prefer Pure and Loft to be open and let her know, instead of hid it until it bloomed and hurt Air.
A bit unfair to start.
Skipped many episodes and love scenes of Pure and Loft since i couldn't watched the betrayal.
LOL, only can said all main leads acted good and nail to the characters!

A Solid Watch with Strong Casting
So far, Roller Coaster hasn’t been disappointing at all. It’s genuinely enjoyable, and I appreciate that the characters aren’t constantly making frustrating or illogical decisions. I found myself rooting for Air, even though she’s clearly part of the problem—and that made her more interesting to watch. The casting is one of the show’s strengths. Each actor fits their role well, which makes the series more engaging overall. That said, the confrontation scene didn’t fully land for me. The emotions felt off when everyone was in the same scene together, even though their performances worked better individually.
Overall, it’s a solid series with good character work, just with a few moments where the execution could’ve been stronger.

A Love Triangle Done Right. (Why Did You Ruin the Last Episode?)
I went into Roller Coaster with fairly low expectations after the last few GLs I watched hadn't really impressed me. I ended up being pleasantly surprised. This was genuinely good. What I liked most was the relationship writing. The love triangle actually made sense, and the characters' choices felt understandable rather than being created just to manufacture drama. The relationships felt mature and, importantly, realistic. I could actually imagine real people reacting and making decisions in similar situations. The characters' actions also had consequences, which made the story much more satisfying to watch.
I liked how much history was given to Pure and Air through the flashbacks. It made their past relationship feel real and helped explain why Pure held on for so long. At the same time, Pure's eventual relationship with Loft made sense to me. Loft gave Pure the happiness and security she had been missing, and I really liked Loft as a character. She was probably my favorite part of the drama.
The chemistry between Pure and Loft was also very good. Their relationship felt natural, and the intimate scenes were handled particularly well. I appreciated the attention to safe intimacy and realistic details, too. The inclusion of a dental dam was a nice touch, and it's something I don't often see acknowledged in GL dramas.
The production was another strong point. The drama looked polished, the wardrobe was great, and the direction had some really nice touches.
The acting was good overall. All thee main lead's acting was good, I especially enjoyed Shelly's performance as Loft. Some of the emotional scenes worked better for me than others, particularly the more restrained crying scenes.
My main problem was the last episode. I actually thought the story was developing well enough that I didn't feel it needed additional episodes, but the final episode changed my mind. The conflict felt somewhat forced, and the resolution was rushed. After everything that happened, the time skip and reunion felt a little too convenient and didn't give the emotional resolution as much weight as it could have. The finale fumbled what was otherwise a really good drama.
Despite that, Roller Coaster was one of the few recent Thai GLs that made me genuinely think, "Wow, this is actually really good." It had believable relationships, strong chemistry, good production, and characters whose actions had consequences.
I would have given it 8.5/10 if the final episode had been handled better.

NOT bad and NOT too good but ENJOYABLE!
This wasn't as messy or toxic as I thought it would be, although it has its own complications. The plot is very bearable and beautifully furnished. It was such a relief to see that Air isn't a red flag. As easy as it is to determine who Pure would choose, it was portrayed very carefully that there were some frames where I had almost believed Pure might choose the other.
The delicacy and beauty of the art shown in this series hold a major significance for me, and I'm always awestruck by it. XD

10/10 2025 GL with the Best Cinematography, Sets, Acting, Chemistry and OSTs
10/10 2025 GL with the Best Cinematography, Sets, Acting, Chemistry and OSTsI can honestly say this is the best GL series I've watched this year. The thing that sets RC apart from other GLs is its nonlinear storytelling and use POV scenes which I've only seen used in The Witcher series never in a GL as most GLs are shot like soap operas or Disney channel shows. The storyline and pacing are the best as there was no rushing or dragging of the plot. Each characters' choice mattered and affected the story. The cinematography is stunning, some shots look like it came from Thai Indie films which again I've never see in Thai GLs. The show also used the OSTs to tell the characters' thoughts and struggles which is never seen in a GL usually the OST is just a cutesy bop.

Roller Coaster The Series m’a complètement prise !

En bref, go regarder Rollercoaster
