Because Meiko is conscious of Yutaro, she falls into self-loathing. Sakurako and Tamiko tell Meiko to ask Yutaro about his feelings. Yutaro, on the other hand, is surprised that Meiko's rice ball has the same ingredients as before. While talking, Akiko is a childhood friend of Yutaro, and Meiko's heart feels heavy as she learns that they lost their family in the same fire, but that they are not allowed to be together.
