Noriko says that the "Otsui" made by Kazue is more delicious, but Meiko is disappointed. Thinking about the delicious taste of the soup made with only konbu.. Noriko looks at Meiko's hard work. Yutaro decides to get some sake while debating with Omura about safe town development. Yutaro returns and puts the Konbu in the sake and asks Meiko to taste it. With that as a hint, Meiko finally finds out the taste of "konbu dashi" of the Nishikado family!
