Meiko is disappointed because she could not make Fumi eat. Oshizu and Genta notice tears in Fumi's eyes as they watch the roasted pike. Fumi, who is presented with a pike, grabs the pike with family memories in her mind and Meiko is pleased to see her eat.
One day, when few people remains in the shelter, Fumi visits Meiko in the kitchen. It was Meiko's dishes that gave Fumi the energy to live again.
Sad news comes to Meiko!
