Zifu asks for Liu Che’s help in Princess Pingyang and Wei Qing’s marriage. Liu Che worries that Princess Pingyang will be put in danger if Wei Qing is targeted by his enemies, but Zifu convinces him. Zifu and Princess Pingyang arrive at the general’s mansion, and Zifu persuades Wei Qing to marry for Shen Jia, Princess Pingyang and his sake. Princess Pingyang also promises to love Shen Jia’s three sons as her own. Wei Qing finally agrees to accept the marriage. When Consort Li presents her godfather Yuan Shu to Liu Che, Yihan reminds Zifu to be careful. Consort Li accidentally injures Consort Xuli, causing Zifu to doubt her sincerity.
