I genuinely did NOT expect to love this drama so much. Music and pianist dramas are usually not my thing, but after just two episodes I was completely hooked and ended up bingeing it in one sitting.The opening was EPIC, from the intense piano performance in Prague to the shocking kidnapping scene. The production quality is seriously impressive, and I was never bored for a second.Song Kang as Kang Bi O and Jun Young Lee as Choi Jeong Yo are the heart of this drama. One comes from wealth and enormous family pressure, while the other comes from poverty and a painful childhood. They are completely different, yet both are carrying so much trauma. Their rivalry slowly turning into genuine friendship and bromance is EVERYTHING. The chemistry, eye contact and the way they secretly care for each other had me screaming.What surprised me most is that this isn't just a drama about music. It deals with family pressure, poverty, bullying, ambition, trauma, friendship and growing up. Even though I know absolutely nothing about classical music, every time they played the piano my heart was racing.My only small criticism is that Song Kang and Jun Young Lee are playing 17 year old students despite being 32 and 29 in real life, so they definitely look much more mature than high schoolers But their acting and chemistry completely made me forget about it.10/10. One of my favourite K dramas this year already. If you love rivalry, bromance, emotional stories, childhood connections and beautiful high quality production, PLEASE give this one a chance.

The episode was really interesting. The opening, with the whole bloody piano sequence and the parallel tussle, was amazing....it was edited so brilliantly. The following minutes explored the early lives of the main cast, giving us glimpses into their characterization and backgrounds. I think this was a great way to establish the characters, because it allows us to connect with them and understand the plot and the intense rivalry that is yet to unfold in the coming episodes.

A really good first episode! It seems like a really thrilling and moving drama that I'm very excited for watching. I also have to add that the FL seems so nice and cheerful, I'm hoping that the love triangle won't get too much focus.

Episode 1 was honestly a really good start. I went in mostly excited about the cast, but the episode managed to make me genuinely interested in where this story is going.Song Kang's character immediately caught my attention. He has everything—a wealthy background, talent, and the image of someone who always has to be perfect—but underneath that, you can already feel the pressure of constantly having to be too good. I'm really interested to see how his character develops beyond that perfect image.And Lee Jun-young... he was just so good. His acting feels natural, and there is something about his character that immediately makes you curious. The contrast between him and Song Kang's character already feels like it will become one of the most interesting parts of the drama.I also really liked Jang Gyu-ri as the female lead. She has a lovely presence so far, and I'm curious to see how her character fits into the relationship and rivalry between these two talented musicians.The first episode doesn't try to rush everything. Instead, it slowly starts building the characters, their world, and the tension between them. With music, ambition, pressure, rivalry, and friendship all coming together, I think this drama has a lot of potential.So far, it's a really promising start. Let's see where the story takes us next. 🎹✨
