Sheng Ze and Qiao Wan easily evade their search by kissing and return to the Sheng residence. Sheng Ze hands the bidding documents to Qiao Wan and says he must win the project. At the board meeting the next day, Sheng Ze volunteers to take charge of the project and says he will never step into the boardroom again if he fails, which is questioned by Director Lin. However, Sheng Huai Jing is very pleased and warns others not to secretly help Sheng Ze. After the meeting, Sheng Huai Jing sees Sheng Ze holding Qiao Wan's hand waiting for him. Sheng Ze announces to him that Qiao Wan is now his personal secretary. Assistant Hua advises Sheng Huai Jing not to trust Qiao Wan anymore, but gets slapped by Sheng Huai Jing. Sheng Ze and Qiao Wan go back to discuss countermeasures and plan to ask Director Lin for help, but Director Lin avoids meeting them. Only Manager Zhang stands on Sheng Ze's side.
