Consumed by guilt over the trouble he has caused his friends, Chau Lok Shing falls into despair. Having never seen him so defeated, his parents become deeply worried. Fearing that his son may spiral into negative thoughts, Chau Keung takes him out to clear his mind and uses Ho Siu’s remarkable life story as encouragement. After serious reflection, Lok Shing decides to turn over a new leaf. He commits to continuing his education and even takes the initiative to work at Ho Siu’s bar. Meanwhile, although Chau Keung struggles with the generation gap between himself and the students on his former school’s football team, he eventually earns their respect after standing up for a student involved in a fight. Seeing this, Cha Sing Lam recommends Chau Keung to the principal as a guest referee to help manage the team, giving him a new role and sense of purpose.
