Quite nice to watch...
As typical of Sukfilm they try to tell a short story with a very limited budget and this time I think they did quite well. Yes, we are all sick of the same places, but at least the "bar" has now background noises to make the scene more believable. I really really wish, they would have friends in the community to help them out for locations to vary the settings a bit. This time the story did not contain a bitchy woman and without cringe which was a bliss and the story is just straighforward and kept more real without forced drama. Of course it's cute and has fluffy moments. The acting was good. The only negative I can say is in the finale where, a) the scene with the mom should have been played out and b) the scene of the sister finding out who the lover of her brother is should have been skipped, because it was unnecessary. But all in all, they did nothing wrong (this time).
So if you have not seen it yet, it's about a 65minutes filler and you could have seen worse. 🤣

Sweet, Addictive and Surprisingly Romantic
Please, Yes is an incredibly charming and loveable short BL that delivers sweetness from start to finish. With eight episodes at only ten minutes each, it is easy to binge and even easier to enjoy. The story is simple but never dull. Every episode moves quickly and I found myself completely hooked.Su Hyeon is tall and handsome which pairs perfectly with the cute and adorable Eun Ho. Their chemistry feels natural and effortless. They are playful, sweet and genuinely convincing as a couple. The kissing scenes are surprisingly great for such a short series which makes their relationship feel even more satisfying.
What makes Please, Yes stand out is how refreshing it is. Sometimes a light ten minute BL can offer more charm and enjoyment than a full fifty minute drama. This one definitely proves that. Sweet, quick and addictive. A delightful watch and well worth the 8.5 out of 10.

Not there yet... so why?
Sukfilm usually delivers in this format. Short. Low low budget but decent. While the storyline in itself was interesting enough, the tall male lead was not. If it wasn't for the cheeky and cheerful disposition of the shorter male lead, there would be no need to watch. He is as stiff as cardboard and has the personality of paint. His sister, his friend and obviously his love interest had some vitality, he sadly was very tedious. I should also add, it's not all the scripts fault, which was more choppy than usual, it's him. Sadly, he appeared in another, Bound Contract and pretty much was just as unlively.Sukfilm produced much better fare in the past. Bad Guy, Blue Boys and Soeul Blues had better actors, continuity and script. So what's going on. I hope this is just an anomaly and they revert to getting the best actors that can deliver within budget.
These shorts are usually a sweet treat where much brain activity is not needed. This left a mostly bland taste due to one actor, which is a shame. Still, I'll be looking out for more from Sukfilm or at least rewatch the good ones.

Not great, thanx to the male lead...
This story was quite ok. As we are used of this company a low budget, but that is not bad.The bad thing was the choise of the male lead, he is so stiff and expressionless and i am really anoyed by his pouty face. I had the same problems with him in Bound contract.
Visuals were beautiful and the music was great.
The acting of the sister and boyfriend was good. The leads had good kisses and good chemistry.

Such a fluffy drama
This drama was super cute and just pure fluffy, almost no angst and everyone's nice. It's super lighthearted and perfect to bingwatch, like I did. Of course, the production is a bit off, but it works, the sound isn't that bad and the camerawork is just a little bit shaky. The main character's has such good chemistry. I will say though that it might be a bit in the gray zone, like dating someone who's 20 when you're 25, or kissing someone who's really drunk, but if you can ignore it, it's just pure fluffy. Was this review helpful to you?

The chemistry was on point + hot kisses
So I have only recently discovered films by Sukfilm. And while some of the shows are like Wtf no, toxic AF (especially with the outdated sole evil female character in some 🙄, I mean, people, it's 2025, let's raise the bar a bit, hm?)But this one was surprisingly good from this type of production. Their dynamic feels more natural what you might see in everyday life insted of it being like super scripted. and I was surprised by the amount of chemistry.
Also, you won't find dead fish kisses here! Like, they really go for it. I was so surprised the first time, like Damn, they really went for it.
The only thing I didn't like was that the kiss happened when one character was more drunk than the other
(so the younger one tried to kiss him but thankfully stopped himself before saying, What am I doing with a drunk person?—correct reaction—but then the more drunk guy kisses him, and the other one goes with it and says something like, You brought it on yourself—not the right thing to do/say, like come on!!!
Why is it always a trope? A drunk person can't give full consent. If you are both equally drunk, then OK, but if you are sober, then you should know better!!! You can wait till the morning and see if the guy stull feel the same way and wants to do it. If not you are just taking adventage. Don't fucking normalise it! )
Beside that, it was a straightforward, kind of awkwardly endearing romance. No toxicity or cringe acting. I enjoyed the hour spent on it. It might not be perfect, but I loved the chemistry and how at ease they were with each other. That would be my biggest point for em.

A neutral BL story, heartwarming, a Bit funny, nice cast.
The story is rather neutral. It's about a boy who is initially unsure of his feelings and afraid of coming out. But the good thing was, there was no love triangle. I think it's cute that the sister herself is into girls and has a girlfriend. Many scenes gave me butterflies. It's a shame it was so short. I had to laugh when the mother came and they lied about their relationship (at the end).I recommend it!! Sooo sweet

Short and Simple
Honestly, I feel like the overall score is a bit high, but for a short drama like this, it fits. If you're looking for a simple pick-me-up show, this could be for you. If you're looking for a new show that has more than a simple love story, then this is not for you.Pros:
- Pretty good acting
- The whole cast is all visuals
- Good kiss scenes
- Simple chemistry
- Supportive sister and friend
- Friend specified what he meant from the dialogue
- Simple dialogue and some fun scenes
- Music was simple yet lighthearted. Fit pretty well with the scenes
Cons:
- Very short episodes
- Chang In sometimes smiles after dialogue, so it sometimes breaks the illusion/ doesn't fit the dialogue
- Subs had an error with ages, once saying Su Hyeon was 20. Made it confusing when they later said different ages (plus would've been a whole different story if Eun Ho was 15!)
- Not sure if this was a website error, but a part of one episode had no audio for a minute?
- Some beginning scenes were a little lackluster with acting, but later in the story, it got better
- Did I mention very short episodes?

Middling in the best possible way — pleasant, forgettable, fine
There's a comfortable predictability to this one that I didn't mind. A drunken accidental kiss, a younger guy who keeps reappearing, an older one who doesn't know what to do with any of it and chooses avoidance as a strategy. It's a familiar setup handled without much surprise but also without much misstep.Nothing here landed hard enough to stay with me for long, but nothing frustrated me either. The couple is fine, the pacing is fine, the story goes where you expect it to go. For a short series that doesn't ask much of you, that's enough — sometimes you just want something undemanding that delivers a small, warm ending and gets out of the way.
I'd land somewhere in the middle on every question I ask myself about a series like this. Believed the couple moderately, the scenes worked moderately, it held my attention moderately. A very consistent viewing experience in that sense, even if consistency isn't exactly a compliment here.
Worth watching if you're in the mood for something low-stakes and easy. Just don't expect it to follow you out the door.

hi
This series really nice I enjoyed it so much. I don't usually watch Korean BL's but I can tell you I loved this one. My only problem is that it's to short for my liking, but other than that I would definitely recommend it to others.I over the acting just I think it was way to little. They could have added at least a bit more drama, and I also would have liked to see the sisters relationship. If possible I would really want a season two of this, just they should make it longer than season one😭
