10/10 no notes! loving the natural chemistry between the leads - even as they navigate this strange chapter in their relationship they're still inexplicably drawn to each other. the scenes with the neen vs mom fights were laugh out loud funny and acting is perfect as always with these two

two episodes in, and it’s already shaping up to be something special

I always make it a rule to watch a few episodes before coming anywhere near the reviews or comment sections, and thank god I did. Coming here after watching the first two episodes, I feel like I stepped into an alternate universe. The dragging, the toxicity, the unrelated drama...it’s a whole circus that has absolutely nothing to do with the actual quality of the show itself. The current rating does not reflect the product on screen at all, so I’m leaving a proper review for anyone who is actually here to judge the series based on... you know, the series. Full disclosure before I get into it: I have never consumed anything related to LingOrm before. I have seen exactly two GLs in my life (Pluto and Petrichor), so I am coming into this completely blind and solely as a viewer looking for a good story. And honestly? These first two episodes are exceptionally well-crafted televisionRight out of the gate, the directing is incredibly confident. Instead of leaning into the bright, pastel aesthetics usually associated with the genre, the show uses a more mature, grounded, and slightly muted color palette that perfectly fits a story about a crumbling marriage. Episode 1 drops us right into the thick of the divorce proceedings and the toxic family dynamic without spoon-feeding us exposition. But it’s Episode 2 that really proves the show's quality. Although the underlying pain of the divorce is ever-present, the way the narrative seamlessly shifts the mood between raw confrontation and unexpected romance is brilliant. On paper, cramming a vicious clash between the mil and Neen, a drunken and miserable Runch getting humiliated and called out for "living off her wife," and a romantic pivot into a single episode sounds like it would be overwhelming—even agonizing—to watch. But in contrary, it isn't. The writers cleverly weave genuine comedy into the clashes with the mother-in-law, keeping the atmosphere from ever becoming suffocatingly dark. They found a way to handle the messy, painful arguments without making it a torture for the viewers. Most impressively, despite all the heavy, miserable buildup, we are gifted a beautifully executed love scene. It doesn't feel jarring... rather, it serves as a poignant, steamy reminder of their deep, undeniable connection, and it made me really appreciate the complexity of Runch and Neen's dynamic.Since I have no prior attachment to LingOrm, I’m judging them purely on this performance, and they are delivering. im in awe. Furthermore, the actress playing the mother-in-law is terrifyingly good...she embodies that specific type of passive-aggressive, manipulative matriarch that feels ripped straight from reality.final thoughts: not sure if anything from the above gonna change cause it's just the beg but what i wanna say is this: watch before you jdge... two episodes in, and it’s already shaping up to be something special... i'll comeback here after the series finishes airing to see if there are things I would add/change. Also, if anyone made it this far thank you for reading this :)

Ridiculously Fun Episode

Such a contrast to episode 1 where there's a lot of tears and drama. This episode focuses more on how Neen and Runch tries to navigate their relationship and set boundaries due to their impending divorce. It's fun to see them failing and also you can clearly see in certain moments that they still have so much love for each other. I loveeeee bratty Neen and her sole mission to just irritate Kingkamol. It's good to see a daughter in law not trying so hard to get the MIL's approval to the point that they're becoming a martyr. Also, for someone who has a weak alcohol tolerance, Runch can't seem to stay away from alcohol lol. Giving Runch a backbone in the series is such a welcome change. Her standing up to her gossiping subordinates and pushing back to her mom really makes you want to root for her character.

It’s Not All Tears

You guys have no idea how much fun I had with this episode, seriously. Neen is easily one of my all-time favorite characters, and Lingling NEEDS to land a romcom role because she was born for it!! I just want to tuck grumpy Runch into my pocket and protect her from all harm!Honestly, I have absolutely no complaints about this episode... it was like that fun curve on a roller coaster where you don't quite know what's coming next, so you just find yourself laughing out of pure excitement. 10/10.

Favs

Amei demais LingOrm em In Love Forever! A química entre elas é simplesmente surreal, natural e envolvente. Sinceramente, elas entregam mais conexão e emoção do que muito casal por aí. Estou completamente apaixonada por essa dupla! ❤️

So Sweet, Like a Bomb Waiting to Explode

Goodness gracious, Netflix, you're on a Thai 🏳️‍🌈 roll on a Friday! IN LOVE FOREVER. CHASING LOVE. I WANNA BE SUP'TAR.Let's begin with episode 2 of ILF. In stark contrast to the river of tears in episode 1 — where I was already stocking up on tissues, sobbing over Lingling’s gorgeous face in golden-hour lighting and that momster’s slime-clad entrance — episode 2 grabbed me by the cheeks and made me grin like an absolute fool. I was smiling and laughing from start to end, celebrating the fact that Runch and Neen are both realizing they’re still so madly, stupidly, glowingly in love with each other!Runch’s face lit up like a festival lantern every time Neen so much as breathed in her direction. All that filial-piety tension took a backseat because this woman was too busy heart-eyeing her wife to care about generational guilt trips. Neen, bless her, was about as subtle as a glitter cannon — flirting with the energy of a wife who hasn't gotten it on in months — and I was game for every sweet, funny, affectionate second. Even the Momster couldn’t ruin the vibe; she oozed in briefly, probably to croak a guilt-laced one-liner, but Runch was so besotted she just nodded along and immediately returned to staring at Neen like the sun itself had made a guest appearance. Growth! It was the perfect fizzy antidote to the emotional barbed wire of episode 1. I laughed, I kicked my feet, I may have whispered “just kiss already” to my screen despite the fact that they are already married. This episode felt like a warm hug from the sapphic gods, and I’m ready to bottle that joy in prep for the inevitable angst ahead. After floating on that cloud, I quickly moved to episode 5 of CL — and the universe said, “How dare you be happy?” The stark contrast between the FWB good feels of episode 4 and the pain-angst-longing hurricane of episode 5 frankly became too dang hurtful. Episode 5 sat me down, handed me a cup of bitter tea, and said, “We’re going to feel things today.” My heart broke into a gazillion bleeding pieces, and my brain was screaming, “C’mon Song, just tell Piang’s grandma that your grandma is related to the royal family and you’ve got more pedigree than Piang!”I mean, drop the lineage bomb! Your bloodline has probably had tea with the monarchy, Song. Piang’s grandma would faint dramatically onto a chaise longue, and we could fast-forward to the reconciliation hugs. But no, we’re in the thick of noble suffering, stolen glances loaded with a thousand unspoken words, and Song standing there with her heart in her hands, patient as the sunrise while Piang and Mudmee are tangled in a velvet noose of family duty. I was clutching a cushion like it could absorb the sorrow, and every scene was a reminder that love, in drama land, is purchased in installments of exquisite pain. I’m not okay — but I’m also obsessed, naturally. And then Netflix, in its algorithm-driven wisdom, loaded all 8 episodes of I WANNA BE SUP’TAR for binge-watching. An awesome, ridiculous, tropey rom-com that feels like it was prescribed specifically to heal whatever CHASING LOVE shattered tonight. I’m about to mainline fluff like emotional first aid: fake relationships, accidental bed sharing, probably a rain scene with a confession — give it all to me. I’ll let the superstar shenanigans stitch my heart back together so I can do this whole beautiful, devastating dance again next week.In conclusion: my emotions are a three-ring circus right now, and I’m holding popcorn, tissues, and a little rainbow flag. Let’s go, you magnificent Thai GL Fridays.

A charming, character-driven episode.

Episode 2 slows the pace compared to the explosive premiere, but that's exactly what makes it work. Instead of piling on more drama, it starts peeling back the layers of each character, giving us a better understanding of why they act the way they do.Neen continues to be the scene-stealer. She's mischievous, outspoken, and effortlessly funny, bringing plenty of laugh-out-loud moments while still feeling genuine. Her playful personality balances the heavier emotional scenes perfectly. The office setting also adds a refreshing dynamic. The interactions between the coworkers make the world feel more lived-in, and the comedy flows naturally without taking away from the emotional core of the story. What stands out most is the growing chemistry between Runch and Neen. Rather than rushing into romance, the episode lets their relationship develop through small moments, teasing the emotional journey ahead. You can already sense that beneath the bickering and awkward encounters, they're slowly beginning to understand each other.Visually, the series remains polished, with warm cinematography and expressive performances from Ling and Orm. Their acting continues to sell both the comedic timing and the quieter emotional beats.Overall, Episode 2 is a strong follow-up. It trades the shock value of Episode 1 for meaningful character development, heartfelt moments, and plenty of humor. It's the kind of episode that quietly builds a solid foundation for the romance to come.

The perfect mix of comedy and chemistry!

This episode hit all the right notes—the comedy was spot on, their chemistry was amazing, and the emotional scenes really resonated with me. Honestly, it’s a solid 9/10, but because I’m biased, I’m bumping it up to a 9.5!

Romance and fun

I will never expect the drama will be so so so attractive since I had read the novel before this. How both actors intersect how theirs small little action without notice. Everything goes so natural and sweet. Love this series very much !

Looking good so far

I don't even know what to say, becauses it's always getting better and better. I always watch the episode without subtitles first e then I watch again when they are available and I might say the it doesn't get boring watching them without understanding what they are saying, because the acting is so good that just by their reactions you get the idea of what's happening.

I’m in so deep

The episode was so beautiful, merging sadness, comedy, romance, family pressure, work harassment. It was bittersweet between the wives, especially after the drunk part.Yet, the way I laughed in this episode was so sincere and I couldn’t control it. “Laugh till you cry” it’s literally what happened to me.The dynamic among all the characters and the way the story is narrated make it impossible to get bored, once you’re start, you are in so deep, and when the end comes, you’re even shocked and feel like it was too short. As for their debut romance before wedding, putting it at the end of every episode is such a genius move. It doesn’t disrupt the flow and even add those “I miss what we were” feelings. Overall , I love it so much. This series keeps getting Better 🫶

HILARIOUS

Nong neen vs mother in law but in comedic way is such fresh way to deliver. Drunk p'runch is more talkative I just love when how convincingly lingling played a drunk role. At the end of every episode they are showing runchneen flashbacks is such a great touch this series. 10/10.

So impressed

I have to say, Ling absolutely killed that drunk scene. 😭 It was so ridiculously funny. She reminded me of those drunk uncles who come home, ramble nonstop to their wives and demand to be pampered. The camera work during the scene where Runch collapsed onto the ground was so immersive that I honestly felt drunk with her. Orm was incredible as well. Her acting felt so effortless like it never looked like she was acting at all. And the part where Neen pulled out those frogs just to tease Kingkamol had me laughing so hard. 😂And I have to give the production a 10000000 point for one particular detail. The scene where Neen topped Runch. Most love scenes usually keep all the lights on so everything is clearly visible, but this one felt genuinely realistic. They turned the lights off and everything happened in the dark, just like how it would in real life. I loved that choice cause it made the scene feel so much more intimate and authentic. This episode still gave me so many laughs and butterflies, but it also feels like the real drama is about to kick in starting next week. I’m just going to enjoy the ride one episode at a time.
