He found his backbone

I thought Lu Qing was finally serious now that he was no longer in his mother's control, but he was still playing games with Xiao Fan. A relationship built with lies has no foundation. Honesty and shared vulnerability will get them farther. I'm glad Xiao Fan made up his mind to do what's best for himself.

A Love That Had to Survive in the Shadows

In 2026, same sex marriage is still not legal in China. I cannot begin to imagine what life was like in the early 1990s, when love had to exist in silence. Every kiss, every touch, every moment of intimacy between Lu Qing and Xiao Fan had to be hidden from the world, carrying the fear that the person who held your heart might never be accepted by your family.Xiao Fan’s life has already been filled with pain.
