China has 1 billion and 500 million of the population are men... couldn't you find someone more beautiful than this Ayden Sng out of 500 million??? And only his acting....at the level of a 10-year-old child
I really cant bealive....,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,......................................................................................................

I don't understand how you can enjoy something that is violence and rape??? Therefore, you are as sick as the screenwriter of this stupid series and the director. You should see a psychiatrist

First Impression: Double Helix

Overall: I'm a bit leery of the dynamic, rating could change quite a bit in either direction depending on characters/plot. 12 episodes about 40 minutes each. I have not read the book this series is based on, I have watched the two one hour movies from 2016 (A Round Trip to Love) but will try to review the series based on its own merits.

Content Warnings: there are several, I'm keeping this spoiler free for now

What I Liked
- acting
- sweet moments
- I did appreciate the apology in episode 2

Room For Improvement
- the wealthy/powerful aggressive pursuer and the not wealthy/not powerful reluctant pursuee dynamic didn't work for me because the pursuee felt more like an abuse victim most of the time
- characters were a bit stupid to realize that there could have been family interference
- it's a shame the sweet moments were mainly montage, wish that would have been longer so I could root more for their romance, really hope this isn't going to be 10 episodes of abuse and then HEA in the last 10 minutes of episode 12

Question: I'm not sure when this is supposed to take place. I saw landlines but also iPhones (first created in 2007). If it's set a couple decades ago, then the other students freaking out at school would make a bit more sense because I can't see that happening now.

“From Chaos to Home: A Love Beyond Judgment”

Their relationship dynamic is beyond anything I’ve ever seen—there’s nothing left to judge, only to feel. I’ve never experienced something this intense before. Somehow, they broke me… and then healed me just enough to celebrate their happiness.

I kept judging them so harshly at first, but then came that quiet epiphany—their love is something else entirely. It’s not simple, not clean, but deeply real. They went through so much pain, yet chose to grow, to become better, not just for themselves but for each other.

What they had in their teenage years was reckless and raw, but in their thirties, it transformed into something deeper—something mature, resilient, and unshakable. After everything, after seeing each other’s true selves, they still chose love. They became each other’s home.

I haven’t felt this emotionally moved in a long time. I absolutely loved it. This is peak storytelling—something I know I’ll never forget.

10/10 Amazing Start of the Series

10/10 Amazing Start of the Series

I completely fell in love with this series after only two episodes. From the very beginning, it managed to touch something deep inside me in a way that felt emotional, intimate, and incredibly real. The actors are phenomenal, and their chemistry feels so natural that every scene between them becomes impossible to look away from. The cinematography and atmosphere are beautifully crafted, creating the perfect emotional space for their relationship to slowly grow and unfold.

Episode 2 absolutely destroyed me emotionally. I was crying almost the entire time because the pain and love between them felt so genuine. It’s heartbreaking to watch two people who clearly love each other so deeply being forced to endure so many hardships and emotional wounds. This series deserves far more attention and appreciation because it already feels special, emotional, and unforgettable after just two episodes. I honestly cannot wait to see what comes next.
