Somehow I Feel Nostalgic

This is a very lighthearted and easy-to-watch drama featuring a simple, comedy-infused premise. While I feel it could have been tighter, perhaps condensed to eight episodes instead of ten to avoid dragging out the build-up to the climax, it remains enjoyable. The OST, "Suki," is performed by Gen Hoshino. The show seems somewhat inspired by "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu" (The Full-Time Wife Escapist); notably, Gen Hoshino starred in that series alongside Yui Aragaki—who is now his real-life wife and Takashi Fujii also returns here as a supporting character (having appeared in the earlier drama as well). If you have seen "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu", you will notice striking similarities in the cinematography, narration style, and ending sequences. The cast is excellent, featuring actors familiar to fans of Japanese dramas; a special shout-out goes to the duo of Wakana Matsumoto and Sano Hayato, who perfectly embody their roles, ensuring the supporting cast shares the spotlight effectively. It is a great choice for light, undemanding entertainment—perfect for watching with a partner or family.
