Ordinary Love Episode 1

Fumihara Ichiro, 36, and Higashi Kei, 24, are boss and subordinate at work, and are secretly dating. The two first met by chance at a movie theater and became friends through their shared love of films. One day, after watching a movie about homosexuality and stopping by an izakaya afterwards, Kazuyoshi, emboldened by alcohol, confesses that he is gay. Expecting rejection, he braces himself for the worst, but Kei accepts his feelings sincerely, and the two begin dating. A year into the relationship, though, they still haven't kissed. Ichiro never wanted to push Kei, who had never dated a man before. He can't stop spiraling: why would someone date a guy 12 years older than them, and the same sex on top of that? Does he actually like me as a partner, or...? A nudge from Sachiko, the owner of their regular bar, finally gets him moving.
