The woman Kei showed the way to was Ichiro’s mother, Hiroha. Ichiro is surprised that Hiroha has come to visit without contacting him beforehand. In fact, he has never told his mother that he is gay. Ichiro explains to Hiroha that he and Kei are sharing a room. While Ichiro wants to tell his mother about his relationship with Kei, he is also afraid that she will reject him. Knowing about his inner conflict, Kei tells him that no matter what choice Ichiro makes, he will always be by his side, and suggests that the two of them show Hiroha around the next day.
