Death of a person that should have been loved
Hibiki goes to director Isezaki and tells him he wants to quit DMAT. But tragedy stricks, when a woman tries to commit suicide because of her cheating husband. She sets her restaurant on fire, and in the same building, there is a 24-hour childcare and a barber shop. Hibiki and his team are dispatched to the location, where he finds out that Nurse Rin is in the building. The woman who started the fire is saved and treated by Hibiki. Rin is later trapped with 2 other people, the barber and a wounded client. The barber gets a heart attack and Rin starts doing heart massage to resuscitate him, but Hibiki asks her over the phone to stop because it is causing her to inhale smoke. Rin and the wounded client both loss conscious, and help arrive but they can only save one. Hibiki, after much struggle, chooses the wounded client because he has a better chance of living. Later, Sakuraba, a firefighter, is able to rescue Rin.
