Meanwhile, Jingrui invites Mei Changsu to his birthday party; after they leave, Mei orders Li Gang to have someone challenge the martial arts experts sent by Zhuo Dingfeng and injure them enough so that they will be useless to Xie Yu.

a lone female character who is obsessed with mei changsu, this does not bode well for the future. another character who is not well placed in the world is the advisor to Prince Yu - the woman with red eyeliner. She is seen only in the prince's "living room" and seems unlike a real person with a real life and feelings. her character needs development as well.
