Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong team up, employing their best abilities in 'Spooky in Love'
Kim Hi Eo Ra returns to the big screen with The Savior.
Set to be released on December 5, The Savior is a mystery horror film that follows the miraculous events that befall Young Beom and Sun Hee after they move to the blessed land of Obok-ri, and the shocking realization that all of it is the price paid for someone else’s misfortune.
In the film, Kim Hi Eo Ra plays the role of Choon Seo, a mother raising her son, Min Jae, all by herself in the secluded village of Obok-ri. One day, when her son suddenly becomes unable to walk, she struggles desperately to find the reason. In the process, Choon Seo senses that the miracle that happened to Young Beom's family is somehow connected to her misfortune and relentlessly pursues them.

The character stills capture Choon Seo's desperate circumstances and the curse she faces. From her suspicious gaze to the moments where she chases after the truth.
The actress described her character as "an animal-like character driven by purpose," and added, "It will be a tension-filled occult film that touches on the real human desires and instincts."
The film marks Kim Hi Eo Ra’s return following her 2023 bullying controversy. In early September 2023, reports surfaced claiming that Kim had been part of an alleged school bullying group called Big Sangji at Sangji Girls' Middle School and was involved in acts of school violence. The actress admitted to being a bystander of bullying but denied getting involved in the act. Following the controversy, Kim had to step away from the limelight. In April 2024, it was reported that she had made amends in the matter by coming to terms with the accusers.
