Lee Joon Gi to possibly star in new Netflix production
In the early hours of June 22 (Beijing time), actor Li Xian served as a ceremonial kickoff guest for the World Cup match between Spain and Saudi Arabia. He appeared wearing a burgundy jersey and, according to local media outlets, reportedly became the first mainland Chinese artist to kick off for the World Cup match.
On the evening of June 21 (Beijing time), Li Xian posted six photos he had taken at the World Cup stadium on Weibo, captioned: "I'm ready, are you?"
According to earlier reports by Southern Metropolis Daily, on June 19, ADIDAS officially announced that it had hired actor Li Xian to take part in the ceremonial kick-off for the 2026 FIFA World Cup (hosted by Mexico, the United States, and Canada).
In response to the announcement, Li Xian posted: "Mission accomplished!"
Li Xian was born on October 19, 1991, in Jingzhou, Hubei Province, China. He is a mainland Chinese film and television actor who graduated from the Beijing Film Academy.
His famous works include In the Name of Blossom, Meet Yourself, Go Go Squid!, and Medical Examiner Dr. Qin.
