The Film Promotion Committee reported on March 5 that The Devil's Deal attracted 1,11,647 viewers, beating other foreign and Korean movies at the box office. The film is receiving love, particularly for its commendable performances by the cast. It hasn't been even a week since the movie hit the theatre screens (released on March 1), and the crime thriller has already won favorable reviews and audiences' hearts. 

The Devil's Deal is a crime saga that tells the story of an aspiring assemblyman Jeon Hae Woong (Jo Jin Woong) and how he navigates into the dark world of politics. Hae Woong is cast out of the election race by Kwon Soon Tae (Lee Sung Min). To make a turnaround in his circumstances, Hae Woong gets his hands on confidential documents and also receives campaign funds from Kim Pil Do (Kim Mu Yeol) - a gang leader. He then plans to re-run for the Assembly elections without realizing that Soon Tae has got a sniff of the confidential documents. 

The Devil's Deal also casts Son Yeo Eun (also seen in The Golden Spoon), Kim Yoon Sung (famous for his supporting roles in The Gangster, the Cop and the DevilKingdom Season 2 and Strongest Deliveryman), and Kwak Jin, who has been a part of numerous movies and K-dramas like The Spy Gone NorthSunshine, and Kingdom to name a few. 

 The film's director is Lee Won Tae, whose other famous movies and dramas include Payback: Money and PowerThe Gangster, the Cop and the Deviland Man of Will.
