Kim Min Ji

An ordinary high school student who inherited her mother's looks and her father's personality, Min Ji carries a deep sense of guilt because her birthday is also the anniversary of her mother's death. Whenever she sees her father looking at her mother's photo, she cannot help but wonder if her mother would still be alive had she never been born. Despite being looked down on and bullied at school for coming from a single-parent family, she refuses to let others break her spirit.

After standing up to Ju Hye Ri, who belittles her because of her family, Min Ji is devastated when she sees her father kneel before Hye Ri's parents at school. In a moment of anger, she lashes out at him, saying, "Then you should never have had me."

Soon after, Min Ji is kidnapped and finds herself fighting for her life. Even in the face of death, she endures with unwavering determination, drawing strength from the thought of the father waiting for her return.
