Perfectly Portrayed Characters
This list is about more than good acting it's a certain indefinable quality that the actor brought to the role that made me feel like they were that character. Like it was a glimpse into a real life and I couldn't imagine any other actor playing that part.

1. Signal
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Jo Jin Woong was Lee Jae Han down to his bones. I was continuously blown away by how real he made every emotion feel and seemingly effortlessly at that. Everything felt organic and I never once felt like I was watching an actor.

2. Bad Guys
Korean Drama - 2014, 11 episodes
All four of the male leads were fantastic and perfectly cast, and I'm not slighting any of them at all. None of them gave a weak performance. But for me Jo Dong Hyuk slipped into the role of Jung Tae Soo like a second skin. I don't know if it was the look, but he had this air about him that totally sold it.

3. Secret Love Affair
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
Both of the mains, Yoo Ah In and Kim Hee Ae, were PHE-NOM-A-NAL. They embodied these painfully realized characters so much that I almost felt like I was peeking into her home and watching every heartaching moment.

4. Just Between Lovers
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Lee Junho hit this one out of the park. I'm so proud of him because not a lot of idols can truly act but I believed every second of his portrayal of Lee Kang Doo. He really threw himself into becoming that character and it showed.
