My Favorites BLs

This has my favorite plotline. I have rewatched this series more than I can count. The way I have cried watching this series is insane. The emotions portrayed by the cast gets me every time.  This one has me cried  so much. It was my comfort drama in 2020

Trigger Warning: Suicide, depression, homophobia, anxiety 

Chemistry does a lot for a drama for me. PayuRain & PaiSky are such different couples but boht had my heart.  I have lost count on how many times I have rewatched this one. It's one I got to watch when I'm bored. 

1. Rain & Payu - Rain being a chaotic/cute/ADHD kid was everything with a calm and collected Payu was fantastic. The chemistry between the actors was WOW. The plot for them wasn't anything crazy. It was actually very simple, but when the actors have fantastic chemistry a simple plotline can be an amazing plot line. 

2. Sky & Prapai - Their plotline was a little more intense. (Trigger Warning for SA).  I loved how determine Prapai was in his efforts getting Sky. This is something a lot of people give him crap for but this was the advise that Sky gave Rain when he was trying to get Payu to like him. I loved how caring Prapai was towards Sky, and how he treated him with a lot of TLC.  Sky being someone who feels like he doesn't deserve love because of the stuff that happened to him in the past, and Pai breaking down all those alls was beautiful to watch. 

Trigger warnings: SA

I am a sucker for arranged marriage trope plus forced proximity. Also, Zee, but I feel in love with Nunew. Nunew is my baby boy! He is such a cutie and a great singer.  The way I can rewatch Cutie Pie all the time is insane. I can rewatch it all the time like a 2000s or 90s romcom.  Plus chemistry between Zee & Nunew is fantastic. 

First & Khaotung really a perfect pairing. The way their chemistry is and the storyline. This was a story of two boys who are hurting that find solace in each other, and they find a way to each heal each other. It's one that made me cry, and not a lot of them make me cry. 

Trigger Warning: Depression and suicide and talks about a death of a important family member

This is at number 5 because nothing has every broke me and made me cry so much but healed something in me. 

I haven't watched a drama that was this good since I watched UWMA. Like I haven't had my  emotions played with this badly since UWMA

OffGun back at it again. It's not my favorite OffGun series, but it's the best OffGun series. 

Gun really shows why he is a fantastic actor, and why he has been doing this for as long as he has, and why he has been in so many series. 

Off's acting for me was also fantastic. I loved him as Sean, and Sean's character felt so 3 dimensional. 

The commentary it had on society, and  the whole thing about twins separated. I loved the whole series, and the whole cast was fantastic. Also, First was sooo good. 

Trigger Warning: Death of Family Member (spoken about), violence, 

A slow burn. However, I was so invested in it. The plot and relationship between the characters of Earth & Mix was so good. I loved how their relationship blossomed through the whole series. I felt very attached to them. 

Trigger Warning: Death, Violence (Small amount),

Picture this. Every episode feels like episode 10 & 11 of a 12 episode BL. I never had so much fun watching something, but also felt so stressed. 

I loved it. It was chaotic, messy, fully of red flag characters, spicy, and it had it's cute scenes too. I will never not be surprised on how spicy this was because GMMTV isn not usually spicy.

FirstKhaotung's characters of Ray and Sand were my favorites. That whole plotline had me. I was invested. 

ForceBook's characters plotline - I loved it. I had fun with it. I was for them and then not for them ending up together, to back at it. I enjoyed the messiness of it. 

NeoMark - I was very happy with the ending for Mark.

trigger warning: cheating and addiction with alcohol and drugs

The sequel series to Cutie Pie. Another one where I can rewatch all the time. I loved Max and Nat in this. I had so much fun watching it. It has a big rewatchability and that's a big thing for me because I love to rewatch stuff. 

It has it's faults. Like way too many couples, and I'm not a big fan of JimmyTommy plotline for SaifahZon. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. 

However, Zee & Saint. Their chemistry is so good. They were my first Thai BL ship I really got invested in and it was because of this drama. I love their plotline. 

Net and James chemistry are one of my favorites. I love how we got a plotline about f*** buddies to lovers. We don't get that. Plus we a sprinkle of some trauma.  I lost count on how many times i have rewatched it.

I already loved Billy, but Babe. Babe caught my heart. In one scene he was a sweet bean, and then he gave this very daddy energy. Plus their chemistry was is insane. 

This is a  fantasy romance story with re-birth mixed in with soulmates covered by cop show. 

The driving force of this show is the romance between the Phaya (Billy) and Tharn (Babe), and it's the chemistry between the main actors that really sell it for me.I felt their emotions and that they truly were these soulmates being reborn to come again together to fall in love. 

The cop stuff plotline was good. I enjoyed it, and the main case was interested, but it's the side cases that I found really interesting. 

Trigger Warning: Violence, Guns, Blood, SA, Suicide, Murder, drugs

Joong and Dunk have such perfect cute Chemistry. Then you have the side couple being Aou and Boom with also cute chemistry. It's a perfect mixture for a fluffy show. It's pure fluff and cuteness and I'm a sucker for that. I can rewatch them being cute boyfriends all the time so I loved it. 

This is my favorite OffGun drama, but Not Me is their best series.  I just loved how cute and fluffy it was. I can watch OffGun being cute all the time. It very much felt like OffGun fanfic. 

EarthMix, FirstKhaotung and GeminiFourth. I had a great time. It had drama, a little bit of spice, messy relationships. It was very real issues that some of these characters were going through. I had fun.

Trigger warning: death of a family member

Frankly this used to be on the top 5, but with all the drama that came the year after it. It will messed but my feelings about this series, and I don't want to support the crazy author. 

However, it was a fantastic drama. It's a dark mafia romance. Who doesn't love those? I love a good dark mafia romance filled with action and red flags. I'm a Vegas girlie. I can fix him. 

Trigger warning: kidnapping, violence, blood, SA, I feel like i'm missing something but think of dark romance you hear about on BookTok and this is it.

I know a lot of people did not like this one, but I enjoyed it. I laughed, and giggled at cute moments. I didn't take it that serious and I had a good time. It made me thing of the Wedding Planner with Jennifer Lopes and Matthew McConaughey, and I like that 2000s rom com movie. I feel like people had way too high expectations for it because it came out after LITA, and it didn't live up to that. However, I loved it and I got back to rewatch it once it while. 

Trigger warnings: talk about homophobia and struggles of coming out

Tin & Can Trash. I don't care or like it. UWMA ruined Mean for me, and this one didn't help. 

However, Perth and & Saint as Ae & Pete. I love how cute and soft their relationship was. I rewatch it all the time. It was one of the first ones I watched that I rewatched all the time because it was so much fun.

3/1/2024 - Saint said that he wouldn't mind doing a season 3 where Pete comes back from Europe and now Pete and Ae are adults. I would watch that so badly. 

Trigger Warning: Bully & SA

I don't know it's one that can be re-watched all the time, but it was a fantastic BL. I do think it deserves to be on Ultimate Favorite BL list, but I'm keeping it lower because I don't think I want to re-watch it. 

However, I do feel like I need another rewatch to really keep what happened in check. I have so many questions still and I'm hoping the special episode helps answer some of that.

This show is wild,  and its TW central. I loved it.
