kdramas I've finished that address mental illness
Over the years, there are kdramas that discuss or explore mental health/mental illness as one of the issue.
few turned out great and maybe ended up fantastic, but what mostly happens are:
when the plot suddenly change its course, the mental health issue disappears over time and then to suddenly shows up again by almost at the end of the story.
or when the drama treated mental illness like it's a curse from witch, that modern medicine could not diagnose and controlled, and only love from a prince can "heal" it.
or when they address the issue in moderation to keep it light and positive, until suddenly dark clouds were coming in and suddenly it's a mystery drama.
or when the drama depicts the issue with captivating visual and they're probably accurate, but they barely bring any substances to raise awareness.
i've seen many things gone wrong with dramas that raised mental health issue.
but these are few dramas I have finished that portray the issue with empathy, understanding, compassion, and respect
