The drama started out really well. I liked that Chenghuan was in a relationship in the beginning and was sticking up for herself, despite the drama revolving around the relationship lasted quite long. I absolutely loved that Chenghuan had to prove herself in the hotel and did not let people run over her. Another good thing about the drama is the relationship between Chenghuan and Zhiming, which was lovely to watch. However, as soon as Chenghuan inherited the hotel, the plot slowly started to get boring. The beginning challenges were fun; however the plot with FL's mum started to get repetitive. The relationship between Chenghuan and Zhiming also became quite boring. They should have stopped the drama after Chenghuan gained the hotel staff's respect, got into a relationship with Zhiming and resolved issues with her mum. The last problems created around the mum, Zhang's activities to undermine Chenghuan's issues etc. were unnecessary and annoying and did not really add anything to the story. Zhiming became only an accessory rather than a main character. I am not the biggest fan of the ending either, despite it being a happy one. Best Choice Ever started out soooo well, but then it was ruined by repetition and unnecessary plot additions. Cutting the drama short to maybe 24 episodes would have saved the drama.
