The rare dramas where I adore the romantic relationship between the leads. Both were mature, self aware, thoroughly in love with their partners but not defined by them. Their interactions had warmth, intimacy, and intelligence.  A true meeting of minds.

When conflicts invariably arose,  it was not driven by jealous exs or unhinged relatives,  but was instead rooted in their value systems and behavioural patterns. Best of all, with time they worked towards a satisfying compromise.
