Easy-to-digest J-dramas

I believe these dramas aren't centred around dramatic conflict and are quite digestible/easy to watch.

Sorted by easiest to digest to least (or in the case where the level is a tie, the one that I believe is better overall is ranked higher).

I was going to add 'with good writing' to the end of this but then I realised there's only two shows I've watched that I can confidently say have good writing all throughout and look how short this list is already. LMAO

I can't stress how this is literally the best rom-com of all time. Machida's performance as Kurosawa is FANTASTIC.
3. Shanai Marriage Honey

Happy, healthy relationship between the leads with insane chemistry! Definitely something to watch if you especially need to relax and want something easy to process with little tension :)
4. Channel wa Sonomama!

So so so cute and wholesome! I didn't think the last episode fit in with the rest of the series but I have rewatched the first 4 or so episodes of this series for its sweet content!
6. Curry no Uta

didn't really like the latter part of the series as much (it was more focused on the drama in the protagonist's life rather than the humour), but definitely recommend the first half for a light and entertaining watch!
7. Mare

Haven't finished watching this yet but this is a pretty heartwarming slice of life so far, and I'd expect it to continue like this! Really recommend :)
8. Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu

I was debating putting this on this list - but the romance between the leads is really sweet, I couldn't help myself. This definitely has more tension than the other shows on this list.
