Are you a newbie in K-Dramas? Or perhaps you ran out of shows to watch? Well, I present you my personal Top 10 Dramas!

1. Angel's Last Mission: Love
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
My Personal Favorite. This drama is about a "nosy" Angel and an utterly grumpy Ballerina that has lost her eyesight due to an accident. After meddling with a human's life (e.g. Saving someone whose supposed to die), Angel Dan (Kim Myung-soo) is given a seemingly easy mission--find love for the grumpy ballerina Lee Yeon-seo (Shin Hye-sun). It was supposed to be easy, until personal feelings and past memories have meddled in the way of the mission.

2. While You Were Sleeping
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
Second personal favorite. This drama is my first drama for Suzy and Lee Jong-suk and I just instantly fell in love with them both. (especially with the OSTs for this drama, which is really S++ Tier)
This drama follows the shoes of Nam Hong-joo (Bae Suzy) a reporter taking a break, Jung Jae-chan (Lee Jong-suk), a highly-active newbie prosecutor of the Seoul Prosecutors Office, and Han Woo-tak (Jung Hae-in), a Police Officer with a deep secret. All three of them experience having dreams that are suddenly becoming real. -
3. Who Are You: School 2015
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
Third personal favorite, and the very drama that has made me fall in-love with Kim So-hyun.
This drama follows the story of identical twins Lee Eun-bi and Go Eun-byul (Kim So-hyun). Eun-bi is a very jolly kid on her foster home, but is heavily bullied on school after defending someone who is bullied. Eun-byul meanwhile is Eun-bi's complete opposite. She is very popular in her school, but is also haunted by a mistake she did to one of her old friends.
Their lives get tangled after Eun-bi attempts suicide, had an amnesia, and was mistaken as Eun-byul. While the real Eun-byul is presumed dead, Eun-bi has no idea that she is portraying the life of her twin. As pieces of her past became clear to her, how will she come clean to Eun-byul's mother and her classmates? How will she live her life? -
4. Thirty but Seventeen
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
This drama is the first one I watched in my Shin Hye-sun binges. And had me on a different view of Hye-sun's acting prowess. Whatever character she portrays, she just nails it. (My Golden Life and Angels Last Mission)
This drama follows the story of Woo Seo-ri (Shin Hye-sun), a violin protege that had an accident while on the way home and had a 13-year coma. She then wakes up as a 30-year old woman with no idea on how she became like that.
On the other side, we follow Gong Woo-jin (Yang Se-jong), who has a childhood crush on Seo-ri. After having seemingly caused her 30-year coma, He distances himself from everyone due to his trauma on Seo-ri's "presumed death".
We also see some action on the other people in Woo-jin's side. His nephew, Yoo Chan (Ahn Hyo-seop), a joyful and active varsity for his school's rowing team , and the housemaid of Woo-jin, Jennifer (Ye Ji-won), who is seemingly emotionless, but also harbors a deep wound in her heart. -
5. My Golden Life
Korean Drama - 2017, 52 episodes
This is my second drama for my Shin Hye-sun binge. When I first watched this drama, I had NO idea that this was THE drama of it's time (with 40%+ in ratings).
This drama primarily follows the story of Seo Ji-an (Shin Hye-sun), a contract worker in a company that has seemingly never experienced a "break" on the corporate world. Her world changes when she is revealed to be the lost daughter of a big conglomerate family. The male lead is Choi Do-kyung (Park Si-hoo), the VP of Haesung Corp., the company where Ji-an works. He met Ji-an thru an accident caused by Ji-an on his car. He later learns that Ji-an is actually his missing sister.
Other leads are Seo Ji-soo (Seo Eun-soo), Ji-an's twin sister, and Sunwoo Hyuk (Lee Tae-hwan), Ji-soo's love interest and Ji-an's old friend from school.Don't be fooled by this 52-episode long drama. Because this one drama will let you experience love, happiness, and total depression all-in-one. And the twists are actually very shocking as well. So yeah. WATCH. IT.
