rank one recommendations.

these three titles are my holy sacraments. i categorize them all as number one / almost entirely on equal footing. all nines and above out of ten.

the requirements to meet this list are that the work meet all or most of the following criteria: no notable production flaws [e.g. visible cameras or crew], fully fleshed out story / well written, blemish-free and passionate intimacy, slower / intentional pacing, well-executed tropes, good preferably stellar acting, & free from sexual assault and other forms of predation.

the rank one's have compelling, memorable, and thought-provoking plotlines that have the ability to reach at my heart, mind, & body.

as of 09 August 2026, i have not reviewed any of these yet. i intend to but think i should rewatch them all for a second time before an official review.
