favorite historical cdramas

idk what about this drama makes it like this BUT IT'S SO GOOD. i'm still not over it now. many people have left bad reviews for this drama but i honestly think it's such a great drama. the plot is amazing, i think it moves pretty fast but i've heard multiple people say that it's really slow. if you're looking for a cdrama to cry to and laugh to, i super recommend ancient love poetry omg. 

dlc is and always will be my go to when someone asks for recommendations. this is also one of my alltime favs :)

my first historical cdrama and i will never regret watching it. if you're new to cdramas, aol is a must watch. this cdrama will bring oceans from your eyes but it'll be worth it.

ugh this was just really good. idk how to describe it, it's just really really good, 

lots of people die but i'm still recommending this cause it's actually a really good drama. 

idk this drama was pretty bittersweet but it's still one of my favs. the first few eps are a little bit slow but it gets really good and binge-worthy at the end.

i can promise a lot of tears from this drama. it gets super deep but imo it's really good overall. 

the plot is amazing and it breaks my heart but overall the production and the story is amazing. this drama also continues into another drama titled "forever and ever" that shares the same main leads.
