rant time

Sorry, I need to vent. I had such high hopes for this... It had so much potential: time travel is such an interesting trope and it was barely touched. There's so much romance, the rest of it is just a background noise. There is no room for thoughts, most of things get brushed off with a joke. Editing mistakes (and so, so many cuts), moon that was copy+paste (the panorama with a big-ass billboard made me laugh ngl), lack of continuity (gunshots don't leave wounds, people appearing randomly), 25 years but the characters look the same. The explanation that doesn't really explain anything and only multiplies plot holes. The villains are so cartoonishly evil you cannot take them seriously (the acting is... interesting). I enjoy bad dramas but here you go expecting something that would make you think, with complex plot and fully-rounded characters and get a fairly standard comedy romance with a bit of poorly choreographed fight scenes (why even go for time travel if you don't want to explore it!!!), which, again, I would enjoy if the premise didn't promise something more. (Don't even get me started on the dialogues, everything needs to be said! Yes, please, tell me the moral of the story, or what is Armin's plan step by step because I apparently cannot tell from the scenes that were shown seconds ago). Tada's character could be this powerful CEO with a single-minded obsession but in the business setting he's only shown not paying attention or mumbling something (not smart CEO but a nepo baby [but we're told he's smart, so I guess those dialogues were for something because you would not guess that from his actions]). And his obsession with Armin... if this is how devotion looks like then the world is truly a godless place. And he's so inconsistent, eh. Armin does piss me off but I honestly don't even wanna think about him. I liked the opening and the bodyguard was sometimes funny.
