Top 10 Dramas
hardest list I've ever had to make :(
-
1. Not Me
Thai Drama - 2021, 14 episodes
This is the best show I have ever watched. The acting, the soundtrack, the plot. It's the perfect mix of emotions. No matter how many times I rewatch it I’ll never get bored of it.

2. The Eclipse
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
FirstKhao officially my favourite gmmtv couple. Waited so long for this show and it DELIVERED! If you ever need actors for crying scenes, it's these two. The way they can project their emotions so powerfully, from both subtle facial expressions to putting their entire body and soul into it.

3. The Eighth Sense
Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
There's something about this show that makes it feel so completely different to other K BLs, and K-Dramas in general, but I'm still trying to figure out what that is. When I do, I'll comeback here. Whatever it is, I love it. My favourite thing was the soundtrack, which is now my go-to playlist. When Conan Gray's 'The Story' started playing I lost it. It's beautiful. It's all so beautiful.

4. Vincenzo
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
Song Joong-Ki you beautiful man. I could not sleep peacefully while watching this (that's a good thing). I couldn't stop thinking about it for months. Beautiful soundtrack, insane plot, intense fight scenes, a satisfying ending. What more could you want?

5. My School President
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
One of the best eras of my life when this was airing. Definitely the cutest show on this list. I love GeminiFourth's chemistry so much and ever single song/cover was an absolute masterpiece.

6. Semantic Error
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Yes.
-
7. Last Twilight
Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
Ripped my heart out, gave it a little hug, and shoved it back in.
-
8. Bad Buddy
Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Laughed. Cried. Ran around my room for a bit. My favourite romance trope is secret dating. My second favourite is enemies to lovers. Bad Buddy did both and absolutely DEVOURED. Will forever be grateful that this series exists.

9. The Gifted
Thai Drama - 2018, 13 episodes
I'm going to be honest, the only thing I really remember from this series is that I cried. It messed with my poor brain and emotions so much. I'M LOOKING AT YOU EPISODE 13. Definitely one of the most interesting and best plots GMMTV has done and the cast is perfect. Once I got to the end of episode 13, I was in pieces... absolutely distraught, threw my iPad and started shouting at everyone on Instagram. Then I saw the video recommend next was The Gifted Graduation and I just sat and stared for a bit, thinking "are you telling me I have to go through all of that AGAIN?!" And I am so glad I did.

10. Imitation
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Yes, I originally watch this because of Ateez but then I completely forgot that and became so invested in the plot and actual characters. It explores the darker side of the idol/Kpop industry which I think is really important - the effect it has on their mental health, how intense crazy fans can be and its consequences. Obviously, this is probably not 100% accurate to the actual industry but I don't know, maybe it is! Like I've said with basically all the other reviews, I loved the songs and how the show created new Kpop groups for the show who have their own songs and social media accounts. My favourite scene was definitely the last song where they're all singing on stage together - a few tears were shed.
