includes strong characters who happen to be female

I've watched a lot of dramas and movies in my time, and one thing that drives me nuts is the call for 'strong female characters'.
Reason being, they tend to focus on literally whether a female is strong or not which often creates a man-bashing mary su who never actually acknowledges their faults. I focus first on whether the character actually seems like or grows into a competent human being.

Without further ado here is a list of Movies and dramas that include some of my favorite female characters to date.
