5. Mr. Queen
Korean Drama - 2020, 20 episodes
When I read the plot I thought: “This is so silly!” When I started watching, I couldn't stop and even rewatched the series. A male chef from the 20th century falls into a hotel pool during the 20th century, and at the same time during the Joseon Era, a queen jumped into a lake trying to commit suicide. When the chef regains consciousness and looks in a mirror, he is shocked to see that he's in the body of a Joseon queen. Who knew time travel and gender-swapping would make a great love story?

In the first episode, there is a major battle between the United States and Joseon (Korea). This is a recreation of a real historical event that occurred in 1871.
