2022 Dramas and Thoughts

Decent vehicle. Ahn Hyo Seop felt green, but Kim Se Jeong killed it -- she's great at these humorous roles. Samantha and Rachel will live on forever, of course. 

Good fun while I watched, but not memorable.

STELLAR. Would watch again. Whale Couple 4EVER!

Excellent for what it was. I've seen better acting from Jin Ki Joo, but Park Hae Jin killed it. Ending was rushed and unsatisfying.

Ji Chang Wook's best post-military drama yet. Thoughtful and funny and full of love. Totally tugged at the emotions, but in a sincere way.

10/10/10. Professional storytelling at its FINEST. Top OTP of the year -- grew together, had a healthy relationship, and the angst was just right. Ending was just a bit short.

So cute. The chemistry between the leads ran super deep. Ending was rushed, but still satisfying.

One of my top dramas of the year. Super thoughtful. It wasn't about where the characters ended up, but about their journeys. I still think about my 5 minutes of happiness a day. 

Cute and predictable. Chae Soo Bin rocked it, OTP had great chemistry, and Kang Daniel did well. Still has room to grow.

It was fun, good chemistry, but ultimately not a top drama.

OH THE ANGST. Loved the OTP -- Bei Xing's doggedness in saving Wan Sen and solving the mystery surrounding him, and his quiet nature and tendency to show up when he was needed. Another ending that was rushed. Pattern?

Brilliant writing. Mind-bending science, but in a good way, and the four leads were memorable in their own ways. Wang You Jun was ADORABLE as the actor/puppy/brother, and Zhang Zi Feng as Zhao Xi had amazing depth and great humor.

Nothing like the original, and the penguin poop jokes were a bridge too far. Cannot recommend.

Solid, great outing for the cast, episode 6 absolutely  memorable, but ultimately not a top drama. 

Was a good coming-of-age drama, but the ending didn't live up to the thoughtfulness of the rest of the story. 

Beautiful scenery, Lee Jae Wook has great comedic timing and does melodrama well. Still got bored and dropped halfway through.

Somewhat sad stories -- was not in the right headspace for this one. Dropped.
