1. The Unclouded Soul
Chinese Drama - 2025, 40 episodes
A generic xianxia that didn't bring anything new or compelling to the table. The only aspects that kept me watching were Wang Duo (he always steals the spotlight), and the angsty timeloop romance between the main CP.
-
2. Glory
Chinese Drama - 2025, 36 episodes
One of the most vapid, brain dead dramas I've ever seen omg.
-
3. Love between Lines
Chinese Drama - 2026, 28 episodes
Has a fresh and fun concept with immersive visual storytelling, and fantastic chemistry between the main CP. They alone are the reason LBL is one of the most memorable modern romances of 2026.
-
4. Idol I
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
I liked the concept/idea of the story but not how it was executed on screen. It felt too try-hard and unrealistic at parts, and I didn't feel the chemistry between the main couple. Their romantic scenes felt very awkward and contrived to me. Definitely not the best idol/fangirl Kdrama out there, but fun enough to pass the time with.

5. My Page in the 90s
Chinese Drama - 2026, 24 episodes
Cute and entertaining but too campy and silly for me at parts. Tell me why the sentient VR system has my girl side-questing kabedons and shirt ripping! Free her from the cliches and stereotypes omg. Also, it dragged the last 5 episodes due to an unnecessary and ridiculous amnesia plot because ML gets hit by a White Truck of Doom in a fucking parking lot!!! Absurdity in its rawest form.

6. How Dare You!?
Chinese Drama - 2026, 32 episodes
The comedy and political shenanigans didn't really appeal to me (I found them to be a bore), but the chemistry between Cheng Lei and Wang Churan is spectacular. Their scenes together are magnetic! I also wish they would've leaned more heavily into the tyrant emperor x demonic consort dynamic a bit more. That was when I found it to be the most interesting.

7. Affinity
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
My god, this is liquid crack. I couldn't stop watching, no matter how ridiculous or absurd it got. It's like watered down omegaverse for the hets. Delicious, addicting, and downright exuberating. My only qualm with it is that they tried to gain some semblance of respectability in the last 10 eps, and thus lost me. Don't try to lace up the corset when it's been ripped and shredded to smithereens since the beginning omg. That's not what we watched for mkay.

8. Generation to Generation
Chinese Drama - 2026, 37 episodes
This is such a profound and highly engrossing tale of forbidden love with a cast of complex characters who are haunted by the choices of past generations. It's by far one of the best romances I've seen in recent years. The progression of the leads relationship. The slow build and unveiling of their ancestors mistakes. The visually compelling cinematography and soul-stirring soundtrack. All superbly done.

9. Seeds of Scarlet Longing
Chinese Drama - 2026, 24 episodes
Fun and sexy until the second half tries for respectability. It was somewhat of a chore to finish.
-
10. Too Young to Love
Chinese Drama - 2026, 24 episodes
Cute and endearing but not very memorable as far as youth dramas go.
-
11. Pursuit of Jade
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
I liked this one well enough but I don't understand what all the insane hype was about. Trust me, there's better idol dramas out there, fam. It was a fun watch but nothing revolutionary like the internet would have you believe.
-
12. Love beyond the Grave
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
This is such a profoundly moving tale of love and loss, especially for an idol drama. I was blown away by Dilraba and Chen Feiyu's respective portrayals of their characters, as well as their incredibly palpable on screen chemistry. They were made for their roles.
-
13. Love beyond the Grave: Extra
Chinese Drama - 2026, 1 episode
A much more satisfying conclusion to Simu and Duan Xu's story! Why they thought it was necessary to make two endings is beyond me, but then again, c-ent in general is beyond my grasp of understanding.
-
14. Veil of Shadows
Chinese Drama - 2026, 29 episodes
-
15. Threads of Destiny
Chinese Drama - 2025, 26 episodes
I loved the chemistry between the leads but wasn't too fond of the heavy harem shenanigans throughout. It was hella messy, especially the last 5 eps. They felt wholly unnecessary and ruined my overall enjoyment.
-
16. Perfect Crown
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
-
17. The WONDERfools
Korean Drama - 2026, 8 episodes
-
18. A Splendid Match
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
Such wasted potential!!! I will bemoan what could've been to my death.
-
19. Dazzling
Chinese Drama - 2026, 30 episodes
This had potential but the writer never let it live up to it. The plot goes around in circles and never accumulates to anything substantial and the leads relationship, up until the last 3 eps, feels more familial than romantic. This could've easily been shorter than 30 eps as well. There is no reason the last 7 episodes had to be drawn out as they were. By the time the leads got together, I no longer cared. I was just glad it was finally over and I could mark it off as completed on my watched list.
I've seen way better paced and developed youth dramas. There was nothing " dazzling"about this one.
-
20. Ashes to Crown
Chinese Drama - 2026, 24 episodes
There's way too much telling and not enough showing for my liking. Most of the plot revolves around characters sitting or standing around, over-explaining each other's dumb ass warfare moves because the writer thinks the audience are idiots who can't follow along if we're not being spoon fed. It's insulting as it is ridiculous.

21. Never-Ending Summer
Chinese Drama - 2026, 29 episodes
Just the way I like my modern romances: angsty with a side of momentary fluff to keep things balanced out.
-
22. The First Jasmine
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
-
23. Love for You
Chinese Drama - 2026, 32 episodes
