Asian Dramas with Awesome OST!

THE OG! Quite possibly the most beautiful soundtrack that's ever played in a K-Drama. I mean.. Round and Round and Beautiful? This here, folks, is the Holy Grail of KDrama OSTs! 

I love how the soundtrack is just super sweet, light-hearted, gives you all-around chill vibes, with romantic undertones. Vincent's The Beauty Inside is very catchy! 

Overall a very strong set of songs! I am especially biased with 1415's Photograph, especially the way they used it in the break-up ep where Lee Dong Wook's character cried at the bus stop, staring at Yoo In-Na's LCD billboard ad ;( 

Sweet Teeth is the best opening song ever for a Chinese drama! The pop-rock vibe is super catchy (and it sounds so well in instrumental version!). Love Zhai Zhao Wen's Say That Your In Mind and Be There. I also appreciate the fact that the English words sound OK in each song (you know how some Chinese songs use English in a very awkward and weird way? .. maybe lost in translation?), giving the songs rounder, emotional feels. 

I loooove how the songs set the scenes in most of the romantic and funny scenes. Running in the rain with The First Words? Yes! Going out for a date with Wanna Be? Check! Emotional scenes with It's you? Hell yeah! Wonderful mix and they actually added the songs for effect. 

I love Talk! I think it's such a cute song. And of course the songs they played over and over in the drama, Don't Cry and Collateral Love by Z. Tao. I mean the drama is about music so I'm glad that the OST is great too (I heard it was produced by Z.Tao).

Ok hear me out. One thing I love about K-dramas is the focus on aesthetic style. The cinematography in this drama is GORGEOUS, and I just fell in love with hollow by sod ven, especially because they used it so nicely in the drama.   

Appropriately pep, college party vibes (Love Diamond fits the bill for a college social), sexy vibes (Something???), a good mix of upbeat and emo songs. And also Cha Eun Woo's song , because, Cha Eun Woo hahaha (my love)

Yoooo I can't NOT include this here. The fact that Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi's character have love songs composed for each other - Wu Ji, - COME ON

This is basically Evan Lin's album hahaha! But joking aside great set of songs. I loved the duet! And the band song... catchy chorus... we long for fiiiiiiire yeah!
