  • Love Is Sweet

    1. Love Is Sweet

    Chinese Drama - 2020, 36 episodes

    10

ok now this is what i call couple chemistry. didn't know i needed bai lu and luo yun xi  acting alongside each other until now. but for real luo yun xi's facial expressions and pda scenes were great. i didn't feel uncomfortable or cringe at all ( sometimes when the main couples get together it's like "wait a minute, im not used to yall doing this gahh!"  so much fluff i honestly forgot the plot LOL.

the 2nd couple wasn't my cup of tea though, found the girl very persistent and desperate. it's giving very much stalker and no boundaries.

  • 18 Again

    2. 18 Again

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

    9.0

this is an adaptation  of  "17 again" and I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as i did.  do not regret starting it.

lee do hyun, the main actor who played the role of an 18 year old did so well. his acting as an old man stuck in an 18 year old's body was spot on and funny.  I loved the scenes where he interacts with his kids and wife as an 18 year old more.  i think i prefer the way he conveyed his emotions more than sang hyun (he wasn't bad either).

  • Because This Is My First Life

    3. Because This Is My First Life

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    9.5

i liked how we got to see ml "change" for the fl (not drastically but he no longer had a stick up his a**). usually it's the other way around where the fl tries to become the ml's ideal type blah blah. you get it.

the supporting characters were also nice. they went through different problems that i'm sure most couples struggle with as well. (pending engagements, settling down and compromising)

  • My Father Is Strange

    4. My Father Is Strange

    Korean Drama - 2017, 52 episodes

probably the only drama i've watched with this many episodes. i usually don't stick around for dramas past 25 episodes (especially for modern ones). but i really enjoyed the family dynamics in this and the characters weren't perfect there was always something to like/hate about them.

  • Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

    5. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

haven't finished yet, but so far i really like the community aspect of this drama. the romance is a plus (ml and fl are cute in an embarrassing way LOL).
