My 2023 Most ENJOYED
These are my favorite, most enjoyed dramas that came out in 2023. NOT the dramas I watched during the year, but dramas that aired in 2023.
I organize them by score BUT also by how many times I rewatched it (even if I just go back to specific episodes).
-
1. King the Land
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
dont even play with me right now. this shit, 10/10!!! my boy junho never disappoints. he will always be ready to eat all of you other bitches up.
-
2. My Lovely Liar
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
this was a really unique drama i would say. caught me by a bit of surprise and while i did enjoy it a lot, she carried the whole show
-
3. The Heavenly Idol
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
This drama is not even over yet and I already know it's gonna be on of my favorite dramas of the year. Well, as of right now I've only watched two dramas that have aired in 2023, but is as far as I can tail this might be just my favorite one. If something tops this, it's has to be like the best thing ever.

4. Forever Love
Chinese Drama - 2023, 30 episodes
NOW THIS!!!!! IT MAY BE SHORT BUT IT HAD ME SAT!!
I checked this drama for updates (no lie) every other hour of every day while it was coming out with subtitles. my whole world revolved around this for about a week and a half. i love these two as the leads and their stories are pretty good. just a really enjoyable watch personally.

5. Bokura no Shokutaku
Japanese Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
cutest thing you have ever, and will ever see! this was super wholesome
-
6. Our Dating Sim
Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
cutest shit I've seen so far this year. the plot = amazing. it was a nice and somewhat slow-paced drama that had a really nice atmosphere to it. it didn't feel under developed at all and the characters were very likable.

7. Crash Course in Romance
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
I enjoyed this drama a lot. The atmosphere was very fun and light, and the added mystery/murder aspect of it made it quite interesting toward the end. I wasn't really all for the mystery element of it because I thought it didn't fit the original comedy genre of the drama, but towards the end, I was all for it. It didn't really bother me that much.
The characters were all so easy to like, and I found myself relating to a lot of them too. Also, the autism representation in this was great. It warms my heart to know that more shows after "it's OK not to be OK" and "attorney woo young woo" know that there have been more artistic characters added to the K drama universe.

8. Delightfully Deceitful
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
loved.
didn't like that they went to love instead of a strong/deep friendship between the leads because by the end i didn't think it suited her character at all to fall for him in a romantic way AT ALL. they should have definitely leaned towards a platonic relationship instead because while she is capable of love by the end of the drama as she has grown to care for those around her, I honestly can't see her in a romantic relationship so soon, if at all. especially NOT with lawyer dude.
that's my only reason for not giving this a 9. a shame really because it deserves a higher rating

9. One Piece
Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
since this is available to add to our lists imma add it cuz yall just know i was on TikTok while this bitch blew up like crazy and i was there for all of the zoro sanji edits so don't even play with me because i will defend this show to the ground and i have never even gotten close to finishing or attempting to start the anime and i will not hesitate still to give anyone a piece of my mind (respectfully of course) if they start talking poorly 'bout this show.
-
10. The Glory Part 2
Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
can't make a best of 2023 list without this masterpiece right here.
chef's kiss. mwah~ loved every crum of this. she served and ate down and we were all fed increasible content. couldn't ask for more. and I kinda live for how they kinda became obsessed with each other at the end. 10/10

11. Castaway Diva
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
yall don't understand.....ANYTHING THIS WOMAN IS IN I WILL WATCH
but moving on from my love for Eunbi, this drama was soo good. despite the suspense of "who is her lover? is it the oldest brother or the youngest" and "what if the dad finds them?" it was a light watch. i enjoyed binging this a lot
