Can You Change My Mind About C-Dramas?

This list reflects my personal experience with Chinese dramas, so please don't take it as an attack on the genre or on anyone's favorites. I'm generally not a fan of C-dramas because I often struggle with certain character portrayals and romance tropes. Even from teasers and clips, I can usually tell whether a drama will fit my taste.

Hidden Love – Nothing in this drama went right for me. It perfectly represents the type of C-drama I usually avoid. Since it's one of the highest-rated and most beloved C-dramas, I watched it until the very end to understand why so many people love this style of romance.

The First Frost – I'm currently watching it, and I think it's worth continuing. So far, I'm enjoying it much more than I expected.

Ski into Love – I've only watched two episodes, so I don't have a solid opinion yet, but it has managed to keep my attention.

Falling Into Your Smile – I dropped it after 3–4 episodes because it simply wasn't for me.

Arsenal Military Academy – This one wasn't bad at all. It ended up being one of the few C-dramas I actually enjoyed.

I'm also not a fan of the wuxia genre.

If you know of any Chinese dramas that you think might change my perspective, I'd be interested in giving them a chance.

P.S. Dramas 1–4 are the ones I either enjoyed, didn't find too bad, or was interested enough to continue watching until the end (or am still currently watching), with the exception of Hidden Love, which I completed for the reasons mentioned above. Dramas 5–9 are the ones I dropped after 3–4 episodes because they simply weren't for me. Dramas 10 onward are titles that I think I might be interested in watching in the future.
