i prefer solid endings as i hate ambiguity, but this show felt like the writer ripped karl's struggle with coming to terms with his sexuality, parental pressure, and feeling like you're living out someone else's life right out of my brain

life changing, revolutionary, amazing, never been done before, absolutely iconic, a timeless masterpiece that will never be able to be topped. if you aren't lgbt then you will probably hate teh, but if you are and/or have struggled with internalized homophobia, this show was made for you

if you couldn't tell by my top 2 containing shows whose main focus tackle struggling with identity - it should be no surprise here that number 3 does as well. crazy good plot + crazy good acting + no weird BGM + improves upon the source material. absolute masterclass of a series.

i could literally write a thesis ab why this show deserves every award in the universe but ultimately it boils down to the very cute and balanced couple dynamics! duang is THE green flag prince (faifa owns the king title for me)

kinda older drama so it's really dated in some society norms/mental health. also please skip the disgusting adult/minor scenes bc this drama is SO good but that literally is it's one flaw

but you go into this thinking "yay i can have a little laugh at the enemy to lovers dynamic that actually lasts longer than 1 episode" and come out with a therapy bill

yes this show is 80% PPL, 20% plot. it's still my baby

i like both the original and the directors cut, but i'm adding the directors cut because of the added voiceovers which help the viewer understand more 

i know most people either love this or hate it. i had read the webtoon before watching but i went into it with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. i do wish the editing/pacing was a bit different but overall it's an enjoyable watch and i really do like this show

the very first time i watched this i was overly critical of the half-assed script. but in hindsight, i think for the time period when the show was made, they actually did a damn good job with what they had. the emotions from the two main leads are so on point and very often, if i'm bored with the shows i'm currently watching, i give this a rewatch and enjoy it immensely.

everything in the show was amazing but please PLEASE do yourself a favor and just skip the two straight couples who frankly, had creepy dynamics bc the main couple is sooooo cute and i love them

went into this hating math, came out still hating math but really impressed with seakeen's acting improvement since only boo. mawinerr compliment each other and they're adorable
