Hoigaku Kyoshitsu no Jiken File

Hoigaku Kyoshitsu no Jiken File is a Japanese long-running prime-time television suspense drama series that first aired on TV Asahi in 1992. Originally it was a drama series with two seasons, but from 1994 onwards, the series was a 2-hour drama suspense. The series was produced by Kokusai Houei (International TV Production).

The series tells about Ninomiya Saki (Natori Yuko), an associate professor (later as professor in 45th work) and medical examiner who working at Department of Forensic Medicine in Konan Medical University. Saki and her assistants are examining the corpse to find the cause of death of the victim. Her husband, Kazuma (Takuma Shin), was an assistant police inspector (later as police inspector) at Yokohama Higashi Police Station. On their private life, Saki and Kazuma has their only son, Aisuke.

Ninomiya Aisuke is Saki and Kazuma's only son. On 46th work, he married with one of the Saki's assistant, Ibuki Minami (Nakamura Shizuka). Aisuke and Minami has a child named Kokoro.

Virtually all of its storyline follow along the following path:

  • A murder occurs early on.
  • A lead person attempts to solve the case.
  • A murderer is found, and usually resists against the lead person, but only few are confesses.
