My favorite Taiwanese / Chinese movies

my heart aches for this movie! masterpiece is an understatement, it crosses my mind from time to time, and when that happens i can't forget about it for a long long time til i distract myself, 

it somehow feels so nostalgic and brings back many many of my memories and pain 

#1 Chinese fave 

when i watched it i felt physical pain in my heart for a week or so after and whenever i remember it i break down and my mood changes.. each scene is engraved in my memory can't forget it or get over it and could never bring myself to rewatch  and relive it again
keep in mind im a sucker for tragedies but this movie is on a different level

this is my fave chinese movie ever lol i cried for an hour 30 mins after 30 mins in i spent the night crying  throughout the entire thing ... it hurt me so bad that i spent the next 2 weeks grieving and remembering and then it doesn't end there i don't need to watch it again because i literally remember everything about it .. scenes dialogues significance of it .. the msg the emptiness .. it might've been that relate to it maybe and that reminds me of things and such but this movie broke me ...  i still don't dare remember it because i know i will be just sad again  because i remember everything ... it's very poignant and realistic for some reason or the other  and it stands at a 20 for me because they took extra step to make an ordinary story powerful and emotional and remarkable .. it was very artistic i remember being so in awe after watching it ...  the acting was too good as well ....

Beautiful, it steals the words out of my mouth and i can't even hold back my tears!
the type of movie that stays with you for a long time, remarkable, unforgettable and painful but worth it.

i really really love this movie ... nostalgic... great acting, lovely stroy, just love it #1 fave taiwanese movie tho it is third on this list 

i loved it... they are making a korean remake of this , i wish they'd make it into a drama and delve more into what happens after the ending i'd be super curious and interested in that
